Prince_Volcanus

(Character can also easily be played as an equine titan of sorts, a primal deity of earth and fire, if MLP isn't your thing.)


"Foolish, prideful ponies.... You look to the sun and moon, but you forget the very ground you stand on! Forged in my flames, held together with my power! What must I do to earn respect, earn recognition? So few even know my name...."

Volcanus is the prince of a mostly forgotten kingdom, one which fell to ruin long ago.... He was just, and fair, if rather strict, as a ruler... And that is all that would be mentioned about him in history texts, if one could find mention of him at all. Truth is, most believed the prince dead, when he was still known... A subterranean prince, ruling the kingdom of fire and earth. In saving the ponies of his kingdom, long ago, from a cataclysm of flame, the king was trapped in a lava flow, and sealed away in solid rock for nearly three thousand years....

But recently, he has been freed, by a fortuitous, and perhaps... Too convenient, earthquake. His kingdom lies in ruins, the ponies he once ruled over having fled to the surface in the cataclysm that imprisoned him so long ago... But he is unbothered. Here, in this new land, he will stake his claim, and the kingdom of fire will rise once again.

And if you don't think he fits in.... Remember one thing, and show respect.

Fire.... Consumes.
