A setting in progress


((A location based on one of the players favorite movies, obviously a very specific set of characters and locations))

At its heart it is a blend between Tarzan, The Jungle Book, And a whole lot of the lion king. Throw in just a dash of savanna tours and this is what you get). Knowledge of those movies is a HUGE assets for scenes, Pride rock, Elephant Graveyard, Various jungles and islands are all in play.



Technology. While the general technology is stone age(maybe with some iron age villages of people) Most of the real stars are Non anthros remember, not tool using by nature., some aspects of the modern era are likely to drift in, Hunters guns for instance.. but these seem to malfunction at a horrifing rate, the remains of this equipment are littered about and can be used as settings.. There IS a bit of shamanistic magic involved from time to time.. but should be used sparingly, mostly for visions, dreams,with the occasional growth/shrink spell or entangle with vines

Characters

The vast majority of characters are non anthro, Savana/Jungle creatures are encouraged but if people can think up interesting reasons why other animals are involved things can probally work out. Size should be limited to roughly twice the natural animal size in most cases..(Giant ravenous lion eating meerkats might happen, but it should be VERY rare.) Characters that fit the setting already are more than welcome(Pouncer comes to mind from my cast)

While the "Stars" of the movies can be playable, they should not be seen as the only ones available, the more imaginative the better. The setting itself can easily be reset of course, should pride rock lions be all scarfed down in one storyline can start again with a fresh look at any point in the "History" There will be very very little "Cannon" scenes when using this place

Prey rolls. Both animals and humans(anthros) are right up dinners alley...

On Predator rolls. Only non anthro may apply, this goes for taurs too, speaking Is fine though.
