Poly is a Scolipede that was originally trained for his trainer's.. a-hem.. pleasure, rather than for Pokemon battles. Not that Poly actually minded, but eventually, some Pokemon Rights Activists caught on and separated him from his trainer, and he has no idea where they are anymore. Go figure. Without being trained for battle, though, Poly ended up mostly defenseless and somehow wandered here, into Eka's Park, unaware of the hungry and perverse creatures who'd love nothing more than to take advantage of him. It probably doesn't help matters that the Scolipede's "poison" that he secretes is more like an aphrodisiac than any actual kind of toxin; his attacks tend to just goad on the horny hordes of the park. C'est la vie.
