Meet Pitaya, a fruit-loving/cold-blooded female snake that enjoys hugs, hypnosis, and fruit of course!
I mean, she did grow up in captivety where she was forced to eat people and hypnotize people all for her old master's twisted amusement, but who REALLY cares about that?
She lives at a police HQ, being brought in to help interrogate suspects with her hypnotic abilities. She lives on a diet of grapes, apples, bananas, strawberries, oranges, watermelons, and... Cantaloupe. She does OCCAISIONALLY eat a mouse, but only because protein supplements aren't enough.
She is also let out of her cage to get excercise, possessing an implanted chip in the tip of her tail that lets her be tracked down and brought back to HQ if she's needed for an investigation. Normally, she can be found slithering the streets by day and hypnotizing people to give her fruit or criminals that need to be brought back to her home for questioning.
As stated, she is capable of human speech (with a slight lisp of course) which really helps when it comes to hypnotizing! Easier to take over soneone's mind when they can understand you afterall.
