Petra is the presumptive heiress and grandaughter of the current king of an isolated kingdom known as Brigid. During an invasion launched by her kingdom and neighboring Dagda against the Adrestian Empire, her father was killed and she was taken to be a student, essentially as a token of allegiance or hostage from her home nation's new status as a vassal state after their decisive defeat. Despite all of her troubles, she is an intelligent, positive, and always eager to learn kind of girl, bearing no ill will against anyone for her current position. However, she is still learning the language and customs, often making grammatical errors in her speech and taking words for their literal meaning. It has also been a drastic change from being a lightning-fast huntress and warrior princess back home to the relative nonviolence of her current academy, especially since her prey back home in Brigid were considerably different, and not nearly as delicious~
