Born to a slightly wealthy Midlander family, Petra was never in risk of being poor or not being able to be herself. Her parents, a Midlander Hyur woman and a Lalafell man, weren't too strict, so when she hit tender age of 18 she went to a bunch of inns in Limsa and started small scale barfights for entertainment. Of course she wasn't GOOD at it, but she never lost! Except to a stool she tripped on while piss drunk. Thats where the scar came from.
Her parents were not too pleased with this lifestyle, so she was given a ticket to Gridania to learn the art of Conjury. The help instead of harm. And she found such love for the art! Being able to do things to help others was her true calling, and so she set off on her grand adventure, to heal as many people as she could!
Though an encounter with a large frog that tied its long, slimy tongue around her....Might have corrupted her slightly. She might want to try some more internal healing.
After an incident regarding the Ultima Weapon, she took up being a Dragoon, to be stronger to protect her friends and allies with a spear and staff should it be necessary, though she is still a healer at heart.
As she made her way to Ishgard, a faint smell of gunpowder brought her to the Skysteel Manufactory, and with them, she took up firearms! To protect, without having to rely on her meager strenght of arms. Seems quite perfect for her! She can be the swashbuckler healer of her dreams.
Now a proud member of Maelstrom! Why you may ask? The best booze! Stepdancing on tables after rough days of adventuring with some booze is the best!
Soooo she might have overdone it with the Regen spells... She noticed that something had changed, because people commented on her looks. And her hair especially! Turns out, overdoing on Regen can turn your hair GREEN. She likes it though...Would have been nice to know in advance however!
The healer girl was in for a shock of her life after a revelation of her mothers past. She never once thought she'd learn that her mother was a half Garlean, making her a quarter Garlean. That might explain some tendencies...
