Pelagi; curious but cowardly:
Swimming in and out of the caverns and crevices of a near-sea reef, one might spot a curious creature who's scales glint and glimmer beneath the surface. Pelagi is an incredibly skittish, cowardly, but comically curious angelfish merboy who's no more than 4 feet and some inches long from head-to-tail. He has long flowing hair, light blue in color with some silvery streaks. His hands forearms and tail are covered in deep blue scales, and yellow frills spread outwards from his behind his cheeks where his ears would be. He's got bright blue eyes that shimmer like the stars, and light-brown skin that sheens with a clean shine. Pelagi is a frantic and unconfrontational boy; he only eats sponges and immobile invertebrates, as they're the only creatures who won't raise a real fuss about being consumed. Perhaps this is because he has a deep and underlying fear of becoming some creature's meal himself. Living in the cruel and chaotic world of the ocean, Pelagi knows just how dangerous other, BIGGER fish can be. He's done well to avoid them all so far...however one day his luck is going to run out.
