Pauly

(Please note, this is a VERY old character, and hasn't been modified in a long while...)



Pauly is the most jolly water-type you'll ever see, always smiling and having fun. That's not to say he won't try to eat you, though.... Tread carefully around this amphibian and you'll be fine.

One of the rare Politoeds to evolve without a trainer(can change this if requested), Pauly has been around... the pond. He almost never left, which made a lot of sense; prey was abundant, and he was living high on the hog. However, that all changed one day, when a rip in time/space (possibly caused by some trainer's battle with Dialga or Palkia) opened a portal right by the pond. Pauly was sucked in, along with some water and a Goldeen, which perished during the trip.

The portal dropped Pauly out rather unceremoniously in Nexus park, closing afterwards. Go figure.

When Pauly recovered, he found he could speak English, most likely a side-effect from being within the portal's magic for as long as he did. He found the lake easily enough, and settled down into it. He feels the lake is bigger than his pond at home, but it still feels... right.
