See, Paulie's a demihuman of some sort. Now, demi's aren't terribly common in his world, and neither is vore. However, when some he showed up with wings at the church, begging for food, they practically bullied him in, and he hasn't left since.

Twelve years old, with silky black hair cut short, and deep blue eyes, Paulie makes a rather striking impression. His fair complexion and white wings make him seem almost angelic. It is for this reason that he was chosen to be a page, a handservant for important visitors, like, say, certain paladinas and crusadresses. With a cheerful, innocent smile, and a curious nature, he's just a normal kid with pointy ears and wings....
