#1 The Goal

What is your intent when messaging this person? Sex? Story? Both? This MUST be your first concrete grasp of why you're even coming to approach them in the first place. Did you just like their pictures and found them sexy? Yeah, you're there for sex, for example. This is tantamount to your success when approaching someone. For why should they care for what you're offering when you don't even know what you want in the first place?

#2 The Read

Know their basic preferences. Read their no kink list, what their post size preferences are, from what view they post and whether they prefer to roleplay story, sex or both. If you forget this step, you'll easily step on triggers or otherwise put people off since you've not paid any attention to their profile. This will also help you cleanse out people who you will not be compatible with. Approaching someone you're interested in but you see that they are a multi paragrapher while you prefer a few lines? It's extremely helpful to both you and your potential partner.

#3 The Idea

Now that you know what you want, and whether you're compatible with the person you're looking at... It's time to form a simple idea on what the roleplay will be. There are three basic things you need for the roleplay idea to take shape, even before messaging your potential partner!

Genre - Fantasy, Horror, Sci-fi or just simple smut, etc?
Setting - Where are you? A castle? A house? Inside the blobular god-sentient world worm?
Timeline - What is the age you're roleplaying in? Medieval, modern, near-future, sci-fi?

This will give you the very BASIC frame work of a roleplay idea. You might think this is too complicated for a fuck, however it's rather simple for why... Fucking in a black void, or in the romantic roman age of slavery and debauchery? I think you get the point. A simple fuck becomes interesting when you're fucking on a feather bed in ancient rome, instead of a black void in the nothingness.

#4 The First Message!

You have FINALLY reached the point where you're actually messaging them. You've figured out what you want, if you're compatible, what the roleplay will be and now you're shaking with anticipation of messaging your text Husbando...!

Do you understand which wins and why? The second one is direct, simple and gets rid of ANY of the pretense that you might be playing hard to get, or otherwise are just being unable to take the leash into your own hands. You show that you have initiative and creative without having to rely on someone else to form your ideas. You show that you are an autonomous person who knows what they want... THAT is sexy for every single woman and man on the planet. At least, to the people who are worth talking to.
