Brandon Owens and James Higgins, in that order.

(tl;dr, one's gay trash with a fat ass and the other is 100% daddy)

Common idioms, proverbs, or what have you never lose their steam for reasons very clearly shown, in many different ways.

This pair is a living example of opposites attract; Brandon the flickering hearth to James's artic levels of cold. In line with recent times, however, one melted for the other and it'll take one monster of a shakeup to pull them apart.

That sort of shakeup has very nearly happened, but judging by the two still being around, hasn't quite happened in it's entirety. Hell, given the circumstances they are that shakeup to many people.

This pair, also, is a result of what happens when a starving artist applies a bit of their own creativity to life. Small world, it is - preds seem to be rare, but two of 'em met.

But enough about them as a whole; you need to know the parts to get more of a feel for the greater sum.

Brandon, the bubbly artist with equally bubbly buns, is the kinder of the duo. Skin as soft as his personality, he really is exactly what he looks like. That is, if you didn't know his favorite food was the fleshy, bipedal sort. Really, in his life, with having filling, readily available food that takes no time to prepare and costs nothing, nothing else would be.
He's got a talent for drawing many different things - full guts included. He has a good refrence for it - and a refrence that he'll try his darndest to protect. Lay a finger in the wrong place on James and gurgles will be all you hear for a fair few hours...probably your last.

Speaking of James, Higgins is a name that holds a bit more merit than it seems. Jamie Higgins, to be exact - his well-known gluttonous sister was the very person who got him into writing. Eating people and his...passionate feelings attached to that were unintended side effects, but they came with the package.

Her writing was a little more off beat than most, straying from usual conventions and taking those that existed and twisting them into something she clearly knew how to run with. She got wild amounts of success for it, so James wanted to follow in her footsteps - but that thought quickly changed once he heard the news. When trying to find inspiration for one of her newer pieces, she went out to a skeevy joint lined with the remains of what might just be old friends. She never came out - only as fat jiggling on some dumb blonde's backside and a clogged toilet. Or at least, that's what's on the record. The real details of her final resting place would bring quite a bit more indignity to her demise. Sisters being eaten isn't something one puts away so easily, and he became colder, more distant, while trying to deal with the abrupt loss. Keep in mind - eating's all fun and games til' you lose a sister to it. Brandon came along and it was back to the James that once was, the mature, good-humored man that laid behind all his troubles.

From day to day, it's not uncommon to see James with a gut at varying stages of digestion. Not because he's a glutton - he simply needs to do some research for his writing, or at least tells his colleagues, and in some cases, that's true. Some. Pieces like his sister used to make - long, usually erotic, vorish novels - and more varied writing makes up a lot of what he's known for. Of course, there's no real stagnation in what he writes - he does come across his fair share of meals, and their stories usually end differently.

Hot and cold, the pair works well together. The only question now is this: would you be willing to make a small donation~? Artists need food to keep themselves alive, you know~
