General Personality Panya is a fairly easygoing neera girl with a warm smile and a kind heart. Always willing to help friends and family out, Panya is hard to get down with just about anything, and those things she that do give her some difficulty in life she finds creative ways to take care. In the worst situations, people will find that the tiny girl is effectively one of the most ferocious women they've ever had the pleasure – or displeasure – of knowing. |
Background/History Panya was one of the many neera born into Nexus's slave trade, and her life, like many, was often the accumulation of dark events that lead one after another. Panya was marked from a young age and often used as a toy and food slave, but the curse she was given made her effectively immortal. No matter what her master or mistress did to her, she would always return from the grave; though, her body and mind would suffer pain for many hours afterward. Unlike most, however, Panya did not despair. Instead, Panya grew angry with her lot in life. Each death, each hour spent in pain, only made the neera grow ever stronger in personality and body. When Panya came to age of 12, she had managed to break free from her captivity, and she immediately started to cause chaos throughout the household, giving time for the tiny slaves that were there to escape. Unable to find a peaceful exit herself, Panya did not hesitate to fight back. With carefully placed movements and on-the-fly traps, Panya managed to do what few neera did: she had killed her owner. Feeling both energetic and powerful, Panya began to do things for neera that many found to be shocking. The first neera to create a “railroad” for tinies to travel to safety to the Noell Family Shrine dedicated to Her Lady of Broken Chains. Within her first 3 years, Panya was one of the many neeras to save thousands of tiny folk due to her relentless dedication and practice. Many slavers hardly know such a girl exists, but she does, and she works incredibly hard to keep herself hidden. During her last year, Panya met a poor slave, Kallen_Seymour, who was afflicted by a contract curse given to her by the slavers. Feeling her heart go out to the girl, Panya did what she could to help Kallen, even offering herself as food on several occasions and creating general havoc for her master. Panya managing to stop several beatings by using small illusions to make Kallen seem like an “expert mouse catcher” which often lead to Kallen not needing to do much that day. Toward the end, however, Panya would suffer a massive leg injury which left her with a limp and recurring pain on the daily. Despite her desire to help more, Panya was forced to retire from her heroics. With Kallen's marriage to Zacharie_Noell, Panya current lives a peaceful life inside of the Noell Family Shrine, visiting Kallen and generally enjoying the good food.
