Eevees are a favorite of trainers in this world. Since they are versatile and can change form depending on various factors. If holding an element stone they can transform into elemental forms. If fighting specific kind of pokemon they can evolve. Not uncomon to find Eevee that have transformed into a dragon form.
As for Zack well he got his eevee and decided instead of chance or fighting he gave her a water stone, Lilly as he called her turned into a Vaporeon... And his Vaporeon likes him.. very deeply. But that aside, If alone she can take other donars just don't expect the same love as Zack himself gets from his Vaporeon

She is a vaporeon and proud one too, She loves her trainer, quite closely actually, and her skin of scales and flesh is soft like velvet and soft leather. Perfect for a loving human, Though obviously she only has a deep love for her trainer. She keeps him protected. If another mon eats him she is the one forcing the Mon to cough him up. Besides that she lets him rest inside her if need be. Protecting him from the cold. Vaporeons even though they have Ice beam and such are a very warm creature. Keeping warmth around him when he rests... wither besides her big belly or inside it.
chances for her to be your friend and mate are low.
