Saebald is an Owl Knight, a specially trained knight that works with physical skill, magic, and beast taming/bonding. He was raised and trained by outsiders with no allegiance to any kingdom, their closest allegiance being to the natural order of the world. After his training was done, he set out on his own journey to find his own purpose in life. More lore can be learned through character interaction.
Physically, Saebald has his knight armor which is sturdy but light, allowing his form of combat to thrive while still being decently defended. His armor is designed with the colors of red and gold to go with a physical design of the animal the knights are based off of, which are varying avian creatures. Underneath all of that though, he is a fairly young looking, handsome young man. He's physically fit but part of his strength coming from some... magic enhancement has allowed him to be a bit plush in some areas. When out of his armor, he prefers to wear circular lensed glasses so he doesn't have to constantly use his own abilities to keep his vision normal while outside of duty. It's not straining, but it's comfortable this way. His casual clothes consist of red cloth pants and shirt with dark golden leather vest and boots. If anything, he looks like the medieval nerd.
While looking like a nerd, he is actually very much one. When not doing his knight stuff, he is one to go out and learn or sit around and just read books and scrolls all days. He is also very friendly, not preferring to take a mean stance towards anyone unless they deserve it. When acting as a knight, he is a bit more stern but still... sort of a dork. Growing up alongside animals and nature he cares for them very much, and has the almost tribal tendency to thank their spirits whenever he hunts. Overall he's pretty friendly with a sense of honor and duty, just stay off his badside.
