Ouei

Before you stands a beautiful 8'3" lioness taur with tawny golden fur, but when you look at her more closely you would see that she has a pair or feathery white wings with black trimming. If you studied up on your mytholgy, you would see that she is in fact a sphinx taur. She wears fine white silk robes on her lower body as well as fine golden bangles around her wrist and ankles as well as other jewelry all gold.

Ouei once roamed the sands of the Egyptian dessert, watching the desert dwellers build there prymaids and such from scratch. She would pick of the occasional person lost or dying in the desert, letting people think the sands claimed them. One day though, another sphinx move into her territory and decided to eat the pharaoh and then flee. Ouei had the finger pointed at her and as punishment, was sealed inside the great sphinx it's self. almost 5,000 years later, she was freed by a group of archeologist, whom she gratefully thanked by making them her pets.

As most sphinxes in legends, she likes to give her prey a fighting chance to avoid being lunch. She will ask them a riddle of her choice, and if they answer it correctly then they will get out of being her lunch and let you go about your business. If you answer incorrectly, then she may do with you as she wishes.

Getting her riddle wrong isn't the worst thing that can happen to you, however. She is actually quite a gentle and kind being. If you lose her riddle game, she may eat you and then reform you after words, or she may decided to keep you as a slave/pet for her company. She gets awfully lonely in her travels. Don't worry, she is very kind to her pets. She will give then a golden collar with there name in hieroglyphics which bond them to her magically. This means she can summon then to her at will and allow then to be reformed if eaten by anyone but her. She also can transform then into a small golden statue of then self which she wears like a charm from her necklace, to better transport her favorites with her.
