Oriya. It's not a well known name, but as captain of
Hunny_Hivemind's royal guard, it's a name spoken with awe and fear. She once ruled one of the more isolated drow citadels in the underdark - a place where she honed her skills at torture, mind control, and sex. Many an adventurer or band of heroes journeyed far to free her subjects, only to end up with their souls powering her magic and their bodies broken to her every whim.
That was before she met the devious queen bee
Hunny_Hivemind. Most people would have been completely dominated by the bee's hypnotic honey. A few would be able to resist and fight back, defeating the queen.
Oriya was a member of neither group.
No, Oriya didn't get to her place by being foolish like that. She was unaffected by the toxins and chemicals in the honey that would have destroyed her mind, but the queen was devious, the kind of being worthy of being served, albeit willingly. Hence she became the captain of the queen's royal guard. Her magic and mind are still free, but she utterly and unwaveringly loyal to her majesty, the queen bee of the hive.
As unchanged as her mind is, her body has not gone unmodified. Extensive and eager meals of the queen's royal jelly - bitter and foul as it was straight from the source! - mean that her shape is different, a mixture of bee and drow. She has, for example, nice and gentle wings and a sharp stinger, and yet her drow heritage is still clearly visible in her dark skin, red eyes, and shapely breasts and hips. Unlike most bees with a 'yellow and black' colouration, Oriya has a black and red colouration. Clearly, this is no normal apis!
Normally female, she can be seen in a herm form from time to time!
