Orinth

Orinth Chaska, Princess Helosia.

Impressive title, ne? Well, the impressiveness is perhaps a little bit diluted by the fact that there are literally thousands of Helosian princesses. Not surprising, considering they're effectively immortal and never seem to STOP being.... active.

The three-hundredth daughter of House Chaska, a lesser royal house(The five hundred and seventh, as it happens), Orinth is one of literally hundreds of thousands of princesses of Helosia. Seriously, the princesses could be considered a race unto themselves. The commoners? Well. There are entire planets of those. An empire, even.

About that, though... Orinth doesn't have a single one of those planets. She doesn't have anything to her name, due to her mother's particular mindset: She's got to EARN it, dammit! This is probably a good thing, though... plenty of Helosian princesses are prissy little snobs who get everything they want with just a word. Mind, their voices can be used to command others with astonishing effectiveness, and some talented members of the breed can shape reality with their songs... or reshape individuals(Orinth is one such). The universe doesn't need more of those, noooooo sir. So, when she turned three hundred, Orinth was pretty well booted out.... though she was given the standard gifts, and had received plenty of training! So, it's not like she was totally expected to fend for herself.

Given a reliquary, a ship, and a small group of servants, most of them simple crew for her ship, Orinth was sent out to do as she wished. She could conquer, if she wanted a world. She could just wander the universe, sampling... well, everything! Or, you know, she could just be lazy.

As it happens, though, she found that a martial lifestyle rather suits her! So, well... she's travelling across the universe, looking for work. Across the multiverse, really. Everything is out there SOMEWHERE, and sooner or later, everyone wants someone dead. Well, nearly everyone.

And that, as it happens, is where SHE comes in. Her Reliquary provides all that she needs, functioning as storage, forge, and refuge all at once. Her training takes care of the rest. With an infinite supply of anything she could ever need, she never needs to stop for fuel, food, or anything else... so basically, she's just fighting for fun! At present, though, fantastic, medieval worlds have struck her fancy.... which leaves her with a rather interesting career, at present.

Stuck with limited means(she's got to play FAIR, after all), and only a few soldiers... she's had to actually PUSH herself. She's had to struggle, if only a bit, to stay alive. Sure, she's stronger and healthier than anyone else on any world she finds, and she can't be KILLED by them in any permanent fashion, but still, it's been hard! ... well. It HAS been. Since she found dragons, though, it's gotten a bit easier. Lovely animals.

Armed with her wits, her sword, and her own superhuman abilities, Orinth has made a name for herself on multiple worlds, and truly thrived. She's happier than she ever was at home, slumming it out here, and frankly, she wouldn't have it any other way. Conquest? Psh. All she wants, in the end, is a challenge, friends, and an occasional meal... and to find those worthy of becoming her special, personal servants. No one's fit the bill yet, though.

Standing at five feet eight inches tall, a good deal stronger than she looks, and virtually unkillable, Orinth doesn't LOOK terribly impressive. Exotic, perhaps, with her blue hair and those gorgeous eyes, but the rest of her isn't too terribly impressive. Healthy, attractive, yes, impressive... no. Which makes it more interesting to find out that she can literally consume anything, up to and including stars, with no difficulty at all. Size is no obstacle, and neither is anything else. Rocks. Trees. Radioactive goo. If it looks tasty, she'll probably eat it. She does have a preference for live meals, though.... and impressive digestive control. Add to this the fact that very, very little could ever kill her, much less significantly inconvenience her, and that she's immune to sickness, chemicals, and the like, and she's... really kind of frightening. Add to this the fact that she can warp reality on a whim with her voice, and things get.... well, yeah. Luckily, she's limited herself to battle-shouts for the most part, unless reshaping toys.

As for what she's looking for... well, she has a few roles she wants filled by people, and no one to fill these roles! That's all she REALLY wants in the end... for now, though, fun is what she wants.
