Nozomu Kaze was once your average nameless slime monster, living in your average fantasy-style rpg world. But she always wanted to be....more~ She saw the monsters with names and how they grew to be so much more powerful than the rest, often leading them, but what she wanted most was one of those special skills the named monsters seemed to get~ One day, she would get her wish...

While blorping about as she usually does, she came across a dieing human adventurer! Now normally seeing such a person in such a state, she would have pounced on the opportunity and simply eaten him! But...he looked to helpless, like this was his first time out. He probably took on a big monster that he shouldn't have...well, the problem was easy enough to see. The slime saw an arrow sticking out of the back f his shoulder, covered in poison, so she simply pulled it out, blorped a little around the wound, and sucked out the poison! The boy still took most of the day to recover, but luckily she had a small den under a tree to hide him in.

When the boy recovered, he insisted on taking the slime home with him to meet his mother. Now recovered, he was at least stronger than a simple slime like her, so resisting wasn't much of an option. And so, he took the slime home, and after explaining what had happenned, the boys mother was overjoyed with the small monsters help! So much so that she decided to reward the slime. unbeknownst to the boy or the slime, his mother was a once great and powerful witch, who had since retired after finding love. And so, when she named the slime as a reward, she passed on a vast amount of power that would manifest into an incredible skill for the newly named Nozomu Kaze....Perfect Shapeshifting~

With this new skill, not only could Nozomu take on a human form, but practially any form she so chose, so long as she has enough slime. For example, she could easily shapeshift into a chair, but a dragon for the time being is far too large. She thanked the woman profusely, and went out into the world with this new skill~ With it, she has already consumed many adventurers, growing in power as she does~ But of course, there's one she'll never harm. In addition, now that she has more power, she has a much stronger sense of 'self'. Making it possible for others to befriend her as well~! So what do you say?~ Will you be her lunch, or her newest friend~!
