Nova Kitsune, at a glance, would seem like your average Vulpine. Save for the crimson hue of his fur rather than the traditional orange, you'd be right. Nova however did not grow up in the happiest of circumstances. Orphaned at the age of 8, he spent time in a foster home with a lecherous lupine 'father' until he was 16, and joined a small militia in order to get away from him.

While in the military, he was treated especially roughly due to Nova's behavior. Nova had a smart-ass streak thanks to his adoptive father's high-society lifestyle that Nova often critiqued. When his drill instructor tried breaking in the new recruits, Nova ran his mouth, and often got more eggregious training than his peers as a result. That same drill instructor, however, later became Nova's best friend. Things didn't last, as Nova may have wound up having a very good field record of successful operations, the one time things went wrong, he lost his friend, and his right arm.

Replacing the arm with a prosthetic metal one, the loss of the instructor turned Nova from a smart-ass rogue to a depressed sadist. His work in the field started growing more violent, often using excessive force or, in some cases, serving his own needs instead of the mission objectives. Prisoners were molested, enemies tortured, until finally the militia had enough, and attempted to have Nova executed by firing squad far from the camp.

Having barely survived the encounter, and thought to be dead by his superiors, Nova made his way through the grueling desert only to find himself in the city of Zarich's junction. He was recovered by the Zarich's Junction Police Department, and showed an aptitude for investigative work as well as his military training proving his accountability. Nova specialized in interrogation and with his help, the police department uncovered many criminal rings and even connections to corruption the city's politicians and own police force had. Nova had found new purpose with the police, and seemed to be on the fast track to recovering from the despair he'd fallen into.

This however was not to last. An unknown beneficiary found out about his past, and began slipping large sums of money to Nova in exchange for Nova killing select people. The people in question weren't good people by any stretch of the imagination; drug lords, rapists, traffickers, you name it. However it did help awaken Nova's true calling to him. Leaving the police force shortly after accepting his tenth job, Nova used the money to found his own personal security firm, The Foxx Fangs Security Services. Now he serves his own interests, and with his slowly amassed wealth, seeks to make Zarich's Junction a safer place.
