Noriko is a high school student at the age of 18. Her high school is a little strange however. They're a magical temple dedicated to teaching magic lessons as well as typical high school classes.

Noriko was sent to study abroad in her class after they stopped offering it the 3rd year.

Her particular class was based on the influence of forces, the environment, and time through special tokens that had to be made out of currency. With these special tokens she could learn magic taught to her by other teachers, influence the result of spells or actions, or resurrect herself even. These special tokens were named game tokens by her, since she loved to go to the arcade so much. The only problem with the magic is, it's very expensive.

Noriko typically studies for her classes, but the school is lax enough that she has time to find a job. Typically she'll walk around the park looking for some kind of work. She has to use money to make tokens, and in addition buy new clothing and other things. She won't pass the opportunity to be tutored by someone in an interesting ability.

Noriko can be found at the arcades in addition to the park. She loves to play video games and a few of her abilities happen to be based on that hobby. The arcade is located in the mall so she can go shopping immediately after a good game or two. She doesn't mind competing with others, but she is nice about it.

Other notes:

Noriko's clothes will remain in whatever shape they are after a scene. She'll return to collect them if anything remains of them. Obviously she can wash the clothes, but sometimes the stains won't come out.
