Sooner or later, everyone wants something. Whether or not they get it doesn't matter as much as the fact that they WANT it, and they're going to try to get it. Of course, some are more successful than others...
Lady_Varen kinda failed miserably, at first, but we'll see how well she does, eventually.
Noiga, on the other hand, isn't nearly as ambitious from the get-go. She's got long-term plans, and she's working on getting there, but she's not going to announce her presence and demand obedience. That would be absurd. No, she's content to start... small. A little interstellar piracy to get funding and equipment, maybe a few other things... world conquest MIGHT happen, but at the most she's most likely to visit Earth if it has something she wants.
Of course, as it happens, it DOES. Earth's a pretty nice little world, even with all the pollution and other nasty, horrible things it has, and there's an interesting variety of life. All sorts of collectors are out there after all sorts of alien life. It's an easy way to make some quick money.... of course, humans aren't quite considered sentient in a lot of places, so often collectors are after those, too.
Noiga, though? She's simple in her aims. She wants a comfortable place to life, an enjoyable lifestyle, a challenge once in a while. Earth offers most of these things, though without the benefits of modern technology(HER idea of modern technology, anyway). She's got a nice little place, bought for her by an agent who didn't mind that she was a bit... weird, or that she paid in gold. It was probably the fact that she paid in gold that helped smooth over her weirdness. Plus, well, who would believe him if he reported meeting an alien?
That weirdness, though... that's all part of her. See... she IS an alien. She looks mostly human, when one sees her without her armor, but that's just in her basic shape. Her size is another matter. Standing fully eight feet tall, with long, silky white hair that comes down to the top of her butt, typically worn in a french braid, she also sports a pair of elfin ears, and a pair of bright, purple eyes. None of that is too odd... it's only once you add in her skin tone that things start to get weird.
Her skin? It's silver. Dull silver, not mirror-bright, but silver all the same! It really stands out, though she typically isn't seen without her armor, so you're not likely to see it in the normal course of events. Most of her needs are tended to by agents, who are well-compensated by their services, to prevent overmuch exposure. Of course, even they don't get to see the other details...
For example.. she's nearly eight feet tall. Seven feet and ten inches. That's... kinda huge. And, well, when she yawns, it's not a pink mouth you'll see, but a blue one! Everything about her screams alien, so she mostly keeps to herself, and keeps quiet. Of course, at the same time, there are stories, every ever so often, about gangs losing their leadership, about a new gang growing in power, before everything goes quiet again. If only for a time, anyway.
That's the prime example of her, though. She can, in theory, wind up anywhere, and she can be played in quite a few settings(Scifi, of course, works best, but cyberpunk is always good too). Regardless of the setting you find her in, though, there are some things besides her appearance that are always fixed.
First off, her equipment. She has a full suit of power armor, made for her, in shades of dark blue and purple(primary and secondary, with secondary colors mostly showing up in the glow around her eyes, etc). It doesn't have any obvious weapon's systems, instead sporting numerous suport systems. There's speed and strength enhancements, as well as a jetpack(more a thrust pack) for boosting her jumps. Add to that a shielding system, and you get the basic idea.
As well, she typically has a ship. She may not, depending on the scene, but if she does, it's a fairly comfortable gunship. Designed for multiple occupants in close quarters, she refitted it so that it houses her comfortably. Being a gunship, though, it has plenty of firepower, more for its size than most other ships could ever hope for, sporting a laser cannon, multiple point-defense modules(about five), and a railgun, for ambushes.
Beyond that? Well, there's just her other abilities, which are mostly tied into her armor. It DOES have a weapon system, and a NASTY one at that. Unlike most, which use guns, lasers, what have you, hers uses an entirely different one. If you look carefully, you can see a series of vents on the back, along the legs, and on her forearms. These are there for a REASON. They let her use her suit's liquid metal weapon system! Said system features a fairly unique metallic compound laced with nanites. She can pressurize the metal to fire high-velocity spikes, then retract them, or shape it into a weapon, or tendrils for grabbing, that sort of thing. This is, in fact, a natural ability for her race, but the suit amplifies it to the point of making it a useful weapon in multiple situations. It allows her to extrude multiple tendrils simultaneously, whereas without it she can only extrude one, and not nearly as far. As well, the nanites laced throughout the compound allow her to do other, very interesting things with it. Of course, those nanites are part of HER, too...
And if she ever needs more raw material? Well. Considering where we are, you can figure it out.
Or, stated simply, she eats people. OV, AV, UB, CV, absorption, etc. If she can grab you, she can envelop or absorb you with ease. So, yeah.... careful about hugs. *smirk*
