Prince Forrest is from the kingdom of Nohr, firstborn of the youngest prince and consequently one of several grandchildren of the current king. When hailing from a warlike kingdom, noted for its barren, inhospitable landscape, and additionally with parentage of a warrior of renown, expectations are high. This is especially true for a firstborn. Though there is no time to raise someone on the battlefield and hence Forrest was sent off early to be raised in the Deeprealms where time passes strangely, and upon emerging, was quite stunningly different from what was expected. One gift of an aunt's old dress to a caretaker, and a ensuing obsession with sewing and fashion ensued, and the end result was an effeminate, kind and caring troubadour-healer. Perhaps someday Forrest may be the heir his kingdom needs him to be but... probably not.
