Long ago there was a small nameless village with only a handful of people living there. One day most of it was razed and its peaceful inhabitants violently slaughtered in their beds. 10 survived that night; Not including the child who took up residences there who was taken prisoner by a horde of demons responsible for the atrocity. During his imprisonment the young boy was forced to endure torture. Brought about by blasphemous rituals involving the arcane arts of magic the boy's blood was embedded with the genetics of an imp a lesser race of demon. Phoenix ash and various other items of unforetold magical power were used to experiment on him. After ten years of agonizing torture the boy developed a significant bond with magic and grew a small set of horns on his head. They released him and not long after the child returned to his village still the splitting image of his eight year old self. The villagers welcomed him back with open arms but this changed after they noticed the set of horns attached to his skull and the tail lazily wrapped around his waist. They chased him out of the village into the predator infested wildlands that lay in wait to devour the weak. (to be contiued if I care enough.
