tl;dr: just a tired, sad ghost boy who's unable to be put to rest despite how much he wishes he could be. named after steamed pork buns. was a major source of teasing in his mortal life, especially with that body.

Niku was teased and mocked relentlessly in his first life, and because of this, he probably will never accept a compliment as actually being so and instead think that he's being mocked yet again.
