Meet Nikkoumon! He is a mega level, Armor digimon.
MaxTheTamer is who he goes by in his own world, the world of pokemon. But out here in the Nexus, and in the many different digital worlds, He goes by Nikkoumon. It's a much safer bet than walking around as a human who is easy prey, and he is at least well armed.
As a human, Max is very much a prey creature. But as Nikkoumon, or even just a Guilmon, he can be very predatorial and he evolved into Nikkoumon without a jaw guard simply for the purpose of consuming his prey while remaining protected. This isn't to say he can't still be taken by surprise, but for the most part it is unlikely unless he is already in the middle of wolfing down somebody.
Nikkoumon is armed with several attacks and abilities at his disposal, such as his ability to manipulate light in such that many assume he is a Spellcaster. But in truth he just has a natural affinity for the element, being able to materialize objects in solid light, or even using it as a means to get around, such as his light step ability which lets him run or even leap through the air without worry of falling to his doom.
His signature digimon attack is the "Sun palm" An attack that can cook a digimon or even a flesh and blood creature from the inside out with temperture regulated from his body that can rival that of the sun.
Light force slash is his secondary attack, the light eminating from the blades on his arms move as if living on their own, extending from the blades as he swings to lash out at his opponant in a very deadly slashing motion.
Alongside the ability to manipulate light and his sun palm technique, he has spent a few years mastering the art of the sword. Starting at the age of 10 he has had ample time to practice his sword play and has quickly become a master. But aside from the light swords he can materialize he has yet to find a weapon suited for him and does actively seek a blacksmith worthy enough to craft a blade for him.
