Alraune Rafflesi
The Rafflesia or 'Hawaiian' Alraune is a specific species of Alraune that are far different from their Japanese/Chinese counterparts. There are a number of key differences, that go as follow.
1. Rafflesia Alraune are harmless and docile toward humans...Most Alraune do not fear humans at all, but Rafflesia also do not have the capabilities or 'heart' to harm humans, preferring much smaller prey and other things to allow them to live, including actual photosynthesis, often never seen in Alraune. Because of this, Rafflesia Alraune are even grown and nurtured in captivity and greenhouses.
A group working for Monster-girl rights once asked if the Alraune disliked this rather...commercial and demeaning form of growing. The Alraune in the greenhouse laughed at her and shooed the activist group away, calling them stupid for thinking they would want to be back in the wild, instead of a place with free water, free sun, and the occasional cute gardener for some fun.
2. Rafflesia Alraune cannot grow to the sizes that Chinese or Japanese Alraune can grow to, topping at the most of 10' bloom diameter and 7' height. A Chinese Alraune can grow to a bloom diameter of 20' with a max height of 13-15 feet and the Japanese variety can have a bloom diameter of nearly 90' with a height of 40'-50', hence the Japanese Alrarune's common name "Alraune Queen"
3. Rafflesia Alraune's nectar does not cause immediate lust, like the other species. Generally it causes more of a calming effect, with lust if too much is drunk. Consequently, though, Rafflesia Alraune also have a psudovagina, not at all uses for reproduction, but it serves the same pleasurable purposes as a vagina. This is a highly different situation then normal Alraune, who need male seed from humans to reproduce, almost seen as a superior evolution in the case of 'Alraune Rafflesi', who actually produce like normal flowers. There are 'male' and 'female' Rafflesia Alraune, though they all appear to be female...scientists have tried to figure out how to differentiate them, and most of them have been slapped for their trouble and lost willing subjects because of it. Companies just tend to buy a good deal of them and keep them all together...it makes the Alraune happy.
4. Rafflesia Alraune are capable of nurturing other plants with their nectar, and also having them take root into the ground will increase the fertility of the plants around them, giving them the common name 'Harvest Goddess Alraune' because of this. In ancient Hawaii, they were seen as attendants to the nature goddess.
5. Rafflesia Alraune prefer the company of females. This is more due to the action of humans then it has to do with their physiology. Other Alraune who do not harm humans also show this trait....and if your guessing why, then you underestimate the lust of the average human male.
6. Rafflesia Alraune use their blooms for more then digestive purposes. Most Alraune have harsh, powerful acids in the base of their blooms, brought on by putting special fruits to ferment within. Since Rafflesia Alraune eat with their mouths, when ingesting animal matter, they can use their basins in many different ways.
A very popular wine company from Hawaii actually uses Rafflesia to ferment all their wine, and it actually comes out as an amazingly sweet and crisp wine, unlike any others....The Alraune wont tell them how they do it, short of a very large blush and a lot of giggling on the Alraune's part.
7. Rafflesia Alraune have emotions beyond lust. Most Alraune need mates to survive, to feed on and reproduce...so they are one thing...horny. Rafflesia Alraune have seemed to 'evolve' beyond that, therefore have a range of emotion comparable to humans.
There are numerous other differences, but there are too many to name...the science community is even suggesting to give the Hawaiian Alraune a completely new genus, separate from the carnivorous Alraune species.
Nihatsu
Nihatsu is, obviously, a Rafflesia Alraune. Born in captivity...well...a greenhouse, she was raised by the other Alraune in the greenhouse till she grew to maturity, where they put her out on display to be bought. She's actually rather more cheerful then most of the other Alraune on display, so there is actually a good chance she would be bought up first.
...which is why she currently costs 50% more to buy then the others. Nihatsu doesn't mind though, she knows someone will eventually need to buy her for a farm, or another company...or even just to brighten up an apartment....she just hopes that its a cute girl who buys her for a companion plant, as she wants someone to be able to chat with.
Things to know about Nihatsu
* Nihatsu looks exactly like the above picture, whereas other Rafflesia will have shorter ears, or longer, or short hair...etc etc etc
* Nihatsu's nectar is exceptionally sweet, and i mean exceptionally. If it weren't for someone buying her for companionship, she would be bought up for a candy, juice, or wine company right away.
* Nihatsu blushes a lot....even just her smiling she has a little blush on her cheeks....make a lewd joke? It'll become very red.....proposition her, it'll cut across her nose....touch her, or whisper very lewd things, she'll turn red in the face and even nosebleed...well...its plant blood, but still.
* Those tentacles are part of her...and they do move....she tends to use them to slap people who be overly lewd to her when she does not like them in that manner.
*Nihatsu is ticklish....yep, ticklish.
*Nihatsu likes chicken...as in eating it...even if its alive o.o keep your chickens away from her, or else your going to be missing a few.
