Neera is a demonic being without a body of her own, coming from one of the darker dimensions. She mostly feeds on energy that she steals from living beings.
After years of seeing and experiencing cruelty, deception, betrayal, she got tired of her current existence and fled, opening a portal to the Nexus. It used up almost all of her energy, and she had almost no means of doing anything for not having a body.
The first being she came across in desperate need of food, was the foxgirl Nyu__, whose body she possessed, which was easy, due to the simple-minded innocence of her new host. She was able to steal - and later be presented with - energy, and released Nyu when she met Umbros, which she also accepted as her master. The demonking then crafted a body for her, which resembles Nyu's, although she looks a bit older, which reflects her actual age.
When she was possessing Nyu, she adapted a few of her traits, partly Nyu's way of talking - although she tends to use her voice in a more threatening tone - and a few of the foxgirl's abilities which she quickly improved.
Neera is trying to get used to the world she resides in now - with great hunger, she always is in need of energy to keep up her body.

Abilities

• Creating copies of herself:
  These copies have the same capabilities as the original and are in the same state than Neera at the time they were created (for example if Neera has been wounded, the same wounds show on the copies as well). She can create up to a dozen of them.
• Teleports:
  Neera can teleport to any spot she can see. It works instantly and isn't prevented by solid materials (for example glass). She cannot use this to teleport out of an onclosed space that she can't see through.
• Energy-manipulation:
  Neera can steal energy when she is touching a living being that is (in the wider sense) an animal (as opposed to being a plant; humans and humanlike beings count as animal for this purpose). It works best if she devoured the creature.
  She can store a certain amount of energy and use it to heal (even reform) herself and increase the strength of her other abilities.
  
• Possession of another being:
  If Neera runs out of energy, she loses her body, but she doesn't die. Instead, she will try and possess another being to do the work for her, until she can form her own body again.
  She doesn't use this ability as long as she has the energy to sustain her own body. And because she is weak in this state, she only can possess someone who is more or less simple-minded, weak-willed and so on).
