Backstory

Nayako isn't a ghost hunter. She doesn't fuddle about old abandoned Prisons very often, or houses that are 'cursed' unless she has a very, very good reason. She doesn't take cases offered by most people, nor does she believe in the existence of most things that people seem to attribute toward 'paranormal investigation.'

Because she has seen too many real things to believe in the hokum and fallacies that people try to spread. Things that no other human being should be allowed to encounter. Different realms, Objects that literally fuck with ones mind, or cause them to kill themselves, or far...far worse. Places built out of absolute madness, beings out of horror stories that even she cannot believe could be true. Plagues and memetic agents that could cause most people to claw out their eyes in absolute horror.

Why would -anyone- want to deal with such things? To put it bluntly...she is immune. Nayako doesn't know -why- she is immune to it all but she is. Deadly gasses don't do a thing to her. Vicious face-eating monsters seem to cuddle up to her and purr. Memetic agents do nothing more than make her laugh. It is almost as if she is a counter to every vile, disgusting, evil being out there.

That is all she has going for her, mind you...she is very much a very normal girl...and being snuggled by a being made out of glass shards can be a little daunting, but she does her best. She does her best to catalog everything she has found and does her best to find a place to keep it safe from other people happening upon it...for their and her own good.

Personality

Despite what one would think of someone who does this sort of thing for a living, she isn't as traumatized or emotionally broken as one would think. Ok, sure, some nights she has crippling nightmares of some of the things she has seen...and she can be a little short with anyone who does not believe her, but so far she has always been believed. Most people cannot dispute her pictures, even if she does keep them out of the press. Only her closest friends see them.

Outside of her work, though, she is a fairly sweet girl. Happy, kind, always understanding...and impossible to upset. You cant make her mad, sad or feel insulted. No embarassment either. Needless to say, she has had worse done to her, anything your going to try wont work.
