Nanocells

OOC notes: a mix of fantasy sci-fi elements that seem to combine a on of stuff.


Someone coined the phrase: Sandbox profile. I guess this is what this can be called. I have plans for a game, until then I've been dumped small parts of the words into profiles here.

for the tl;dr crowd, this is an alt where I can pretty much create whatever character you or I want so long as it's humanoid or demi for a scene.

The sizes can go from to 5 inches to 5 feet, and they're able to be digested without it permanently ending the scene. At the end of the scene the sapien can be added to your profile, this mostly for evolving characters in that regard.

As for things I'm currently looking for: my interest are rather polarized atm: I like thieves who'll sneak in or kill to get what they want, but also adore Courrpt Queens and Princesses who could barge into someone's home and demand a sapien to leave their current master because of their status, using them for their own pleasure.

I like Normal humans who could be getting one just to have a friend, but also like monsters and demons who capture and enslave spirits to enchance their own powers.

A more standard thing are DRAGONS and Snakes. These are essentially walking talking gems, call it specist but love the idea of dragons devouring sapiens for the sole purpose of getting their gem core.

But the main thing I'm falling in love with strangely are characters from various video games, movies, and anime. The silly idea of them using their powers to insert themselves into their favorite shows, pulling characters out into the real world, or finding out their idols actually exist; however getting the shock of their life that these characters are more vicious/crazy/lustful when the cameras are off.

This profile is like a store. at rp's end the nanosapien if newly created can be added to your profile
PS this is mostly a prey page with the wandering AI being the predators.
For now this is a switch but for canon sake they start off purely prey.

Tulpavatars and Nanocells are two sides of the same coin, in a way that Wandering_AI and Viraith's are similar yet different. The main thing tying them all together is their root of creation is Magineering technology:

(the study of enchanting machines with magical energy through the use of enchanted ore and minerals, or using magic to create ore and use them to built enchanted weapons/machines.).

Nanosapiens are a bundle of nanocells (nanobots that multiply through mitosis like an animal cell). A nanosapien is made up of 14 trillion to 15 trillion nanocells, all together mimicking a human form similar to how a monstergirl slime does.

All 15 trillion nanocells are controlled and operated by a "core" (the first nanocell that was given the genetics, matter, and magic, that all future nanocells multiplied from it would duplicate) created from corrundum. This core functions as their soul, heart, and brain all in one, and if the core is destroyed the mass of nanocells would collapse all at once looking like white slime or slush.







1. Nanocells can access the internet. They have their own wifi so can surf the web whenever they need to.

Because of this, if given a task they can constantly pull up information they need; in the middle of a hunt or a battle this can become invaluable if you need to change your strategies. A single sapien can also act as a hot spot for your computers or laptop; furthermore a nanosapien can also synch up with other bluetooth devices, this way even a giant/ess can talk with their sapien despite the vast size difference.

- However using wi-fi acting like a hotspot eats up their electric reserves. Magic is what keeps them alive, but electricity is what allows their body to move; if they run out of electricty you'll be forced to eat/carry them, potentially slowing you down.






2. Nanocells get stronger after getting a master.

2.2 Nanocells get a better resonance through mental links, thoughts and ideas; they can fuse with their master, talking via telepathy and get more strength by them and their master being on the same wavelength.




3. Finally all nanocells have some basic concept of elemental magic

Nanocells are composed of magic primarily. They are always casting spells, and a young one will cower behind their master if someone gets within melee range; on their own they are very vulnerable to physical strikes, and a focused strike to their core will kill them almost instantly.

1. Breeders are now very common place, sometimes a breeder coming up with their own ideas of how to make more unique nanocells (for example a water nanosapien is the base template, but the breeders make ICE nanocells. or an Earth sapien is the template but the breeders make SAND nanocells).

1.2 Of course there are some things that go unsaid, like making nanocells out of dark magic. A more even person you kidnap and torture breeders into making a new nanocell more attuned to your predatorial/depraved nature; nurturing it by making it kill others.

1. Whether it's a brand new one or you're stealing a good sapien off of someone who've you killed/eaten. A sapien is given the vore mod and is used as a weapon, persuaded that eating strangers/innocents is a good thing/there's nothing wrong with it.

A nanosapien has recently run away from his/her master is starting to turn into a wandering AI. They're core programming is still intact, the possibility of forging a bond existing.

3. Reprogramming
Having killed, eaten, or snuck into the house the nanocell lives in; you steal the nanosapien.
Secure in your lair, you hook her up to a computer and alter her coding so you are her new master, even managing to rewrite her MO / (mission objective).

4. Copyright ownership/infringement
A nanocell breeder cuts corners in designing. The outer-body, taking a picture of a famous predator/hunter/rapist.

4.1. You find yourself on the news. A sapience impersonating you/ ruining your image.
Going to court, you walk out with the nanosapien along with the breeder; you can teach the faker how her doppelganger is SUPPOSED to act.

4.2 The same idea but on a bigger scale. The sapiens are mass produced and sold as toys/dolls/action figures.
After hefty blackmail/ grilling the toy maker with your attorney, you get 50% of all profit made, and a nanosapien of your own.

5. "nourishment"
A more vorish/(maniacle) owner you start to incubate the still dormant nanocell packet.
There's a right way and a fun way, using the tools of your "trade" you start to nourish the cell your way (and to your delight, a better way)

5.1 A wind sapien needs to blown by wind, as you digest someone you breath onto the packet letting it smell your (clean/foul) breath, and while digesting prey you let out a big wet belch onto the feather, the wind scented with the digesting flesh of your victim.

5.2. A water sapien sea shell needs to be bathed and submerged in water/ fire sapien stars need to be bathed in sweltering heat.
Either or, you gulp the nanocell down letting it slosh around in your stomach juices along with your food/letting it cook in your hot stomach/womb the average body heat of a warm blooded creature 98 degrees Fahrenheit.

5.3 Earth sapiens once planted need many things like water and fresh fertile soil.
Luckily you can make your own fertilizer and urine can suffice if you drink water frequently.

5.5 Either way this treatment corrupts the nanosapien, able to tempt your new pet with vore easily, making your body their home.

6. Jewel hoarder
When a nanosapien's body is destroyed, it reverts to its crystal form that was extracted from empty packet.

A fire sapien will turn into a ruby, a wind sapien with turn into a topaz, an earth sapien will turn into an emerald, and a water sapien will turn into a sapphire.

6.1Exploiting this fact, you attack sapiens to get at the crystal. Able to turn them into jewelery or hoard them in a pile. A day later they return to their active form, resulting in a big feast to turn them back into crystals.

6.2. A dragon or an average thief, you steal a piece of jewlery. Whether planned or not, the sapien reactivates in the lair of the thief; the owner able to follow behind.

Used by a powerful necromancy or maybe the remnant of a long war, the sapien one of the generals in the war; a nanosapien is black listed, not for purchase.

7.1 After paying an immense amount of cash you are given the black listed sapien, BUT NOT BEFORE SIGNING A DISCLAIMER AGREEMENT THAT WHATEVER MISFORTUNE HAPPENS IS YOUR FAULT

A previous master deemed unworthy, a nanosapien is returned to the store. Sold at a discount, you get a sapien, her personality likes and dislikes set in stone; if you don't match up things can get very frustrating very quickly.

9. Identity theft : A current favorite at the moment, more for the non-humans/monster girls/dragons specifically. A nanosapine and his/her master tried to kill you, but only suceeded in knocking you unconscious.

A few months down the road you find a person walking around with someone who looks EXACTLY like you did when you were younger.

9.1 Outraged you kidnap your look-alike putting 2 and 2 together, your dna your property, and to tie up all loose ends you eat her master as well.







Overall Facts





In the old days, monsters threatened the land of Nu; so the collective population split up, one group going deep underground, while the other uprooted massive chunks of land and using their magic made they soar high up into the sky.
-

Only the monsters that could fly pursued these sky dwellers, and while their magic helped push the monsters back they wanted them dead. To this end they made nanocells, a weapon that could morph and be changed into as many forms as needed., controlling them by infusing the cells with a portion of their soul.
-

The problem came though when the monsters stopped showing up. . . Using the nanocells so much, their magic gave them a steady flow of magic yes, but also their SOUL.

Eventually the nanocells not only FORMED THEIR OWN SOUL, but when not in use would morph into human shape, and imprinted on their masters calling them not master but mother or father.
-

They had reached the point of no return, unable to destroy sentient life. The final step in the ladder was when their now named "nanosapiens" started to want more friends to play with; at the same time other nations below them wanted sapiens of their own.

They were finally able to justify making more, turning it into a business. The Seraphs of the Seraphian isles, made a chain store called "Cradle of Life" where nanocell production would be refined, and hired three of their generals: Dr.Darah, Officer Onyx, and Professor Proxy, to handle the buying and selling of nanocells. It was the dawn of the era of Nanomachine sons and daughters.



Nanosapiens need two things in order to function properly:
-

1. MAGIC: On the Seraphian isles this isn't a major concern because there's raw manna in the air angels breathe. For those who live below however, they need to either feed their sapien elemental crystals which can be bought from the stores, or feed them their own magic. Magic is a nanosapien's blood, and if they run out of magic it will force them into hibernation (so they can spare the last of their energy), or worse if they actively expend the last of magic in the form of an attack, the sapien will die.

ELECTRICITY: their inner circuitry which must be routinely replenished with new electricity. The need to be recharged, since while magic controls their heart, electricity is how their body brain and muscles function. To run out of electricity won't kill them, but it will incapacitate them, make them slow and lethargic to the point they fall asleep without reverting into hibernation/crystal mode.

This can be accomplished by two ways

1. At the base of their spine is a 2 pronged plug, plugging them into the house when they are doing nothing important is good way to recharge them after a hard days/nights work (takes 4 hours, lasts a day, adds to the electric bill).

2. or having them initiate "hibernation mode" in which they revert to a basic crystal/soul gem, and then place them within their element i.e placing a sapphire in the bathroom sink. (takes a week lasts a half a month, easier to steal).



At five to ten years of maturity they need to be given firewalls and spy ware detectors. Internet still exists and they can access it at any time.
At ten yeas of age eventually their brain, and what they've seen in the real world and internet will make them develop solid interests and hobbies.

There are general downloadable apps/mods that can help the sapien on their path, giving basic knowledge to act on what they've learned.
Other downloadable content includes things like skins (trading the human body for like a mermaid body), upgrades to said skins (increassing breast size, if they're still have their base robotic skin decking them out with shoulder cannons, etc.), and modifications to their inner core which is responsible for growth (allowing them to shapeshift/morph into weapons like a sword or a pistol, or increasing the number of skins they're allowed to have).

It's important they are protected during these downloads;
getting infiltrated by hackers is equivalent to being RAPED, and the bond will most likely be shattered, turning the nano sapien into a Wandering_AI which is basically a rogue/hostile nanosapien.

Depending on the lives they've lead, at twenty to thirty years of age, they'll try to settle down in a place they feel most at home. Nanosapiens who have learned to take control and manipulate the machinery inside of a house will become one with the circuitry making the house fully automated. These "Nanite dwellings" can be sold for a lot of money, and anyone who can buy a "Nanite dwelling" will never have to lift a finger.



Personality



Unless they meet other sapiens, their personalities can be generally predictable based on their element and the emotions of their owner. Sometimes the two can clash, and if the dissonance is bad enough the sapien will attempt to break their bond. (visual aids show the represented sapien fully mature)


-=> Wind sapiens are very adventurous, jovial and eager to explore new horizons. They like being seen and heard, and will sometimes go to great lengths to make sure that happens. Some can also be described as scatter brained and hyper active, especially if introduced to too many things at once.
Wind and fire sapiens are the only ones that unless given a size increase mod, will be small like fairies.



-=>Water sapiens are the most calm, refined, and arguably romantic of the spirits. They like to sing and weave tales of sailors fighting vicious monsters. They're the calm in the storm, and chide fire sapiens for being "savage" and "head strong". They'll try to bring their master out to the ocean so they can make their own stories of adventures, and show them the beauty of the deep.



-=> Earth Fairy photo 223408896.jpg Earth sapiens can seem dull, but their actions speak louder than their words. They're very gentle and loyal, but if you're doing something wrong they'll usually snark behind your back. They're different from fire spirits in that they train their owner in very subtle roundabout ways. Setting up traps and pranks until they can dodge them. If they never catch on the earth spirit will start to talk more usually snarking to their face, making sarcastic remarks with a stone cold edge to their voice. If all else fails they're break their bond and walk away.
Earth nanosapiens grow to be the size of a human female by maturity, but the earth energy has allowed their nanites to be affected by the size increase mod and double in height.



-=> Fire sapiens are the most active in all aspects. They love to fight and will challenge their master any chance they get. They're hot headed and passionate about what ever they take an interest in. Almost all fire spirits will become warriors and drag their masters along with them. They'll face all problems head and will only slow down if their master can stay assertive. They'll get in arguments with water sapiens for them being too subtle and willing to wait until things fall into place.
Wind and fire sapiens are the only ones that unless given a size increase mod, will be small like fairies.



special skills/accessories


No matter the element, the empty shell left behind is very important for many possibilities.

1. it can be traded in for elemental crystals which can then be fed to the nanosapien.
-----

2. Nanosapiens need a place to sleep. Taking the crystal to the shop you bought the nanocells from, you can get it fashioned into jewelery where the sapien can go into to recharge it's inner circuitry/sleep.
-----

3. It can also be used for element specific accessories to help with interactions between you and your sapien.


For earth elementals the stone flower can be planted into the ground and it'll eventually grow into a nanotree. You have to go to the store still, as they'll all people to til land fertilize the soul. This tree can influence the growth of all life around it, and it can also function as the nanosapien's home. It's easy to maintain vegetable, fruit, and flower gardens near the tree.

Most people will trade the earth shell for earth crystals. Nanotrees last forever, but if you put the earth crystal into the ground it will have the same effects for two years.



Water shells can be turned into a blue tooth (the phone accessory) or horns (the blowing kind). There are many dangers and spirits in the murky depths. No one can tell, but before disaster strikes the spirits warn the sailors to stay away. Having the blue tooth helps the master keep in touch with his sapien as she dives into the ocean. It can help you avoid sailing to your grave as the sapien combats the spirits in the deep.

The horn is for sailors and fishers. With the sapien out in the ocean fishing, the master would normally have to wait until the sapien returned after having a good catch. The horn can call the spirit to return home with whatever it had. If used out at sea it's issuing a challenge to all monsters nearby, those who are itching for a fight.



Fire shells can be used to enchant weapons. If the fire sapien goes into the blade, it'll burst into flames increasing it's power. Heavier weapons will become light enough to wield.
Turning the shell into an orb, the bright flashes can be used to illuminate dark areas and blind opponents.

The biggest skill however is a surgery which allows the sun crystal to be forced into the master's body. The fire sapien can now fuse with its master, turned into an ifrit/android hybrid.



The wind shells essentially a simple feather doesn't have as many uses. You can trade in the feather for special clothes that can allow you to fly along with the wind sapien.


In all elements,once you return the shell you have the option of being put on layaway for a special upgrade that grants the title "Mother unit". These nanosapiens once reaching maturity can accept another genetic sample or make a packet of excess nanite sells they're stored over the years.

Going through the process, the mother unit will have conceived a child. Nanosapiens created by a mother board will always be stronger, and runaway spirits will be drawn to where a Mother unit dwells.

As an added bonus, Mother units can ADOPT these runaway spirits after they've made an appeal to the overseers.




How to get one/Awaken one

The people who are given a license to sell nanocells, more often than not wind up breeding PEDIGREE spirits. These spirits start off not human, and usually know a certain skill. If you ask for pedigree spirits, the shop owner will give you a phone number to call, and a price can be negotiated with the breeders. Pedigree spirits being of the highest grade, they also demand the highest price.


Depending on the elemental affinity they are carried in a special container. If the buyer pays a fee and fills out a form, she/he can offer a genetic sample to the overseers, and it will be like having a child/or more simply put, the nanosapien will be the species of the genetic sample offered.


-=> Fire is a gem that looks like a sun. As the nanosapien inside grows, the gem will glow and pulsate with warmth like that of a sun. When the spirit is finally ready the buyer must take it to a dark empty room, for it will be shining bright as the sun and the heat radiating off of it will set anything other than stone on fire. The now inactive sun stone can then be brought to the store.


-=>Earth is a stone bud or a seed depending on how big the packet of nanocells is. Over time t he seed with slowly grow and bloom into a white flower with a jade jewel inside. If you try to yank it out you'll kill the flower and the spirit inside. But if you show gentle care, the spirit will be released. For future purposes, you should separate the flower from the stem and bring it back to the store when your got your seed.


-=> Water is a sea shell like crystal. If you place the shell near your ear, at firs you'll hear an incessant babbling in your ear. This is the growing spirit, and it's important you talk to it as this creates a bond. When it's ready to be born, it will either say "Let me go" in a dull sad voice, or "I want to see your face!" You must go to the ocean and let the tide take the shell out to sea. The sapien will return to you holding the shell.


-=> Wind is the most fragile and in comparison the most expensive to buy. You need to buy an anti gravity panel to simulate floating in the air.
It's also advised to learn how to listen to the wind and at least know basic wind magic. The 'listener' during this time should eventually be able to hear the voice of the wind; the spirit will notice this and a bond will form, making controlling a wind nanosapien much easier. To see if it's ready, place your hand beneath the feather and turn off the anti-gravity panel; if the feather drops like lead it's not ready yet.When the feather drops normally the sapien is ready to be set free. Find a strong wind, or be able to create one of your own and dance with it. The bond is officially concrete and the nanosapien will appear from the feather.

Some records show this is how predators can reassert control over a sapien that misbehaves, and others can even grow accustomed to being eaten, preferring to live inside their master's body than in a regular bed.
