Due to his nature, Nanga is not able to go far from the water. He's purely a kind soul. Though getting him angry is not in the best interest of anyone. After years of training he learned to cause the scales on his arms to jut out into a blade like form for fighting and defense. Overall though Nanga is very intelligent as far as the ways of the water goes. He knows what reacts with the water, what makes it move and all the important things sailors still question.
