Nacha

Contrary to popular belief, tarantulas aren't dangerous creatures at all! In fact, they make great pets for those who aren't afraid of a little unconventional companionship. But for some people, the whole arachnid thing is just too alien for them to appreciate, and that's why there are miniature spidertaurs... brought to you by SCIENCE!

Actually it was something of a disturbing process, involving finding and capturing micros to- well, it's really not necessary to go into detail. What matters is the result! Adorable little half-spider, half-human pets... though those proportions might not be accurate. For instance, take Nacha here! A particularly sociable tarantula girl who was rescued from an owner who neglected her when she was young, feeding her crickets only when he remembered and scarcely refilling her water bowl. Luckily a visiting friend recognized her malnourished, dehydrated state and 'liberated' her... or stole her, depending on which side is telling the story.

At least she was freed, and taken to a local pet store, where she awaits a new owner!
