A look from the eyes of a little fox:

Myrina is a noble born fox girl, conceived by the blood of a mage and high priestess, her very blood flowing with the essence of magic itself. She had impressive talent for both the arcane and divine arts of magic, her abilities making her sought after by various organizations from an early age. She found most unappealing, especially the ones that wanted her as a just another expendable rather than as a person. Some even threatened her, saying they'd kill her or her family if she refused. She was not without protection however, her parents each having friends in high places, keeping them safe. There was however, another group, who had a different method of recruitment...

The Order of the Crimson Roses, an order of knights, came knocking at her door one day. Myrina was prepared to shoo them away, just as she had the others, but she instead found quite the surprise. A puppy girl greeted her with a smile, showing far more kindness than she was used to. When she didn't close the door after a minute, her parents got curious, coming to investigate themselves. The puppy introduced herself as Lyanah, explaining how her group had heard of the prodigy child, how she had shown great promise. But rather than try and sign her up immediately, like all the others, Lyanah just asked her a few questions, then took her leave, seeming a pleasant mix of both cute and professional.

Myrina brooded some, feeling how this group seemed different than the others... Or at least how Lyanah did. After a couple days, Lyanah would knock on her door again, this time with a bit of company, an archer girl named Olanda. They asked Myrina for help, being in the area for a job themselves, and saying they'd feel safer with the young fox with them. And how they wouldn't force her to come anyway. She thought a bit, then asked her parents, who decided to let her go. The trio went out into the woods. Probably the most adorable group of adventurers you'd ever see. Which meant some would see them as targets, especially out where no one could save them except themselves... Big mistake. They not only showed tremendous skill, but also fearlessness that many adults would be jealous of. Together, they felled bandits, conquered beasts and even became fast friends. Likely because they were all little girls at heart, though Myrina was the youngest by a couple years.

They completed the quest with little difficulty, rescuing pets of the locals from a band of gnolls, returning nearly all of them safely. Sadly, they weren't in time to save them all, but they weren't put at fault for it. The did the best they could after all. Now was when the other two sprung it on the fox, asking her to join them on more than just a little excursion. They enjoyed her company, having someone friendly to talk to as they worked, as well as someone they could count on. She thought about it overnight, talking with her parents, eventually deciding to say yes, meeting the girls at their camp on the outskirts of town, meeting a few of the other members. Her parents left her with a rather generous going away package, including a magic stone placed in her forehead, allowing her to telepathically communicate with them whenever she pleased(It doesn't hurt at all either), a few scrolls and wands, and some money. They were promised that she'd stay safe, master priests among their order skilled at bringing people back from even the gravest of injuries, death included. This information was backed by the fact that Myrina's mother knew one of the priests from her school days, and of how skilled she was, putting their hearts and minds at ease.

From that day, the little fox was a welcome part of the team, treated as an equal from the moment she started. Her only request was that she be grouped with Lyanah and Olanda whenever possible, a request happily granted, as the trio made quite the well rounded group, sometimes with an addition or two.



As far as her own abilities go, she's a magical genius, able to wield most any variety of spell with enough study. She has some permanently placed upon herself, improving her agility some, as well as making herself nice and stretchy so she can gobble people up when she needs to. And in any orifice she wants.~ Currently she's focusing on healing and protection magic, along with water and fire based offensive spells.

She's currently 11 years old, and stands at 3'7".
