The one who uses it, and the one who made it. A sword can be forged by a legendary blacksmith, but that won't matter, if the one who uses the sword doesn't know how, or has never used a sword before, the sword will rarely become legendary itself. And what makes a swordsman or swordswoman famous or legendary? It's not the sword it's the way they use it. But what happens... when a sword is more famous then it's user...? And it stays like that for a long long time. The user's name becomes forgotten by history, and they become only known, for their sword."
That is what has happened to this woman here, she has been around for a while, nobody knows how long. Her sword's name is Murasame, and it is known to be a cursed blade. Well it was known, not many people know of it here. The curse? A craving... for human flesh. Be wary around this samurai, whether you are her ally or enemy, she may just be planning to use you to sate herself. Who knows, she might make a name for herself, but for now, her name is lost to history.
