There were two water dragons born near the water, have the preasure washer that punches through steel at 100 foot away. And maybe some magic. These two are sisters that like getting into it with one another and can include a third Namely a male that might like gropping and getting lewd with them. The two sisters surprisingly are a year appart from one another in age... Mura being the older of the two. Masa getting eyes for her older sister and staying with her... The two eventually moved' to where they stay now... though that eventually is a tale.
During their upbringing their parents raised them and the even learned magic. This magic was general all around use... from elements, to healing, and even a few other things... Namely transformation. They can change themselves, and others if the others in question allow it to happen. Of course this means a few... meals were a bit different than originally intended... First they started with other things then once perfecting transformation into others.. like a deer into a bear... or bear into a deer... a deer into an anthro... or even human. The sisters were allowed to cast the spell on themselves.
As their parting year came the sisters learned magic gather power and learned about the world from their parents. Still showing they swung for one another, though having the idea of having a male they liked too being with them. And their Parents explained that they can specially mate with whom they liked... wither another draogn or a human so long. As it could speak clearly and concicely. Or simply they were on the same sentient level as themselves to make it more easily understood. This included anthros and humans in their mate possible pool.
We then go onto their next rung of life... how they became legendary smiths... They went into a human town hoping to see one that got their arousal... a human male... But none did that for them they did however find a smith down on his luck and needing help... So they helped him. For their help he allowed them to apprientice to him... And they learned faster than anyone he knew. Not to mention they were strong even as humans. able to work almost all day without much break. Obviously they worked till the smith said stop... and all the time they were perfecting their craft... was the smith a legend himself? No, he did learn from the girls and the Girls helpd his fame as far as his shop was concerned... It was nearly five years of their life with him, before they found him new apprintices and would let them take their spots so he could teach more Ferriors. for the future. it should have been his son however out of the three children he had... none of them grew up to adult hood passed from the plague that passed through the town a year before the twins showed up.
They went off into the wilds yes... but they didn't forget the metalurgy and smithing no they improved on it. Making better weapons testing it on all manner of things, even making armor themselves which ended up being on par with legendary armors like the Genji armor and several other armor sets that were of legend.
And so at 25 their gear they make is now the stuff of near legendary porpotions... they even enchant the gear they make as to mark as their make. The two dragoness continued this though instead of helping with humans slaughter one another they just made it hard to get their gear... the most they might make for the general traveler that passed by their valley, they would get a trinket of worth, though if worn would make their normal clothes like chainmail. Better travelers even those of noble intentions only got legendary armor at most... They had never found one that could take on having a legendary sword of their calibre... It was too much.
So now wither you call them hermits... nuns or the like they just like the idea of being... out of public sight since a king would force them to make weapons for his army and dragonslayers might like their dragon heads... So they really do like living in their valley where they let a rumor come out... Kings do send parties out there to seek the treasures but often come back with maybe one amulet... at most. The twins were not really into making it easier to slaughter one another in battle.
You might say hipocrite. However it isn't that simple. They just don't want to choose sides and a random power armor or super amulet wouldn't change the fate of a nation. Not like supplying an entire kingdom with weapons and armor would do. And take note they mostly only give out the protection never weapons.

Muramasa
This legendary one edged blade is the sharpest Diakatana in existance. Able to cut magical enchantments and
through just about any material that is terrestrial and even some that is not. This blade was throught lost to the ages after its
original weilder went missing. And the last Valley he was in is known... just not explored since two dragons protect it now.
Warning - is endgame weapon for most games. It is the only weapon they forged in recent history and were abhorent to what it did
So it is burried in the valley really deep.

Forged of dragon scales, or metal enchanted in some way by the dragons, forged in a hot forge besides and crafted by master hands. These items would make even world ending entities shiver at the persition and power these items hold.
