Clara is a 24 year old English major working as an editor, who works on her own books in her spare time. She swears up and down that her books will sell great and be the next big thing, just as soon as she manages to get them done. Of course, while she's great at editing things, her own work seems rather flat to her, so she never seems to actually put it out there. She is often seen at coffee shops, internet cafes, and the like on her computer typing away with a drink nearby that she blindly grabs every so often to drink
She has fairly long light brown hair, along with lighter blue-grey eyes, often as not framed by small and unobtrusive glasses when she's writing or reading. She also has a bit of a habit of playing with her tail between her fingers while trying to think of what to write or when reading something particularly interesting - she'd nearly dead to the world when doing that.
She's also a teacher's assistant at the local college for a creative writing class, and with both that and her editing job, she makes enough money to live fairly comfortably while she pursues her major further and keeps trying to write the book that will have her name out there as something everyone knows.
When she's finally fed up with people's bad writing though, she tends to let her hair down a bit and go out to a karaoke place, or at times, a dance club. Of course, "let her hair down a bit" really means something a bit different to Clara than to most people...
Despite how painfully safe most of her life is, Clara's something of a thrill seeker at heart; an adrenaline junkie who can't resist the idea of doing something dangerous just to see if she can get away with it. Most of her life is structured specifically to keep herself away from temptations, as despite being a mouse, she does want to live a long and healthy life.
She does, honest.
But the tedium and boredom of living safely just really doesn't do much for her, and when she does let herself have a day to herself to relax a bit, she's practically a completely different person from what anyone who knows her as a student or in her job would recognize. She's a shameless flirt, aiming specifically at predators like cats and foxes, and even big cats or wolves and the like. One who teases and flirts with danger without thought of if she'll see tomorrow when she's too busy living in the moment.
She's even been known to intentionally try to lure would-be predators into private just to see if she can turn the tables on them, possibly with bondage, some playful bets and games of chance... or depending on the situation, spiking the would-be predator's drink. And if her attempt to dominate her own natural predators ends up backfiring, well that danger's just part of the allure...
