Funny, then, that you don't often hear about Sex Magic.
This, perhaps, is by design, at least in many parts of the world. Be it the Establishment and/or society finding the mere concept disgusting, unsettling, or unnerving in some way, or the mages themselves keeping a low profile, because their kind are hunted and killed, or any of many other reasons, Sex Mages aren't well-known. Mind, perhaps one of the best theories is that they keep themselves relatively unknown so they don't have to deal with countless unsuited students...
In any case, Sex Mages, Tantric Mages, Eromancers... they all use Sex in some way or another to make the most of their magics. Some use it as fuel for their powers. Some use their powers to enhance their sexual abilities. Some draw on sexual energies like a succubus, or incubus, would. Whatever the case, sex is important for them, and very useful for them, along with all the accessories that come with it, the fetishes and desires people bring with them to bed.
Morin, here, is a Tantric Mage, at least nominally. His magic is fueled by sex, intimacy, and strong emotions, and his skill, among those who know of him, is without question. He travels the world, meeting people and solving problems, with sex and magic, and he could command a VERY high price, if he ever asked for money.
He doesn't, though. He doesn't NEED money, even doing what he does for a living, and for a hobby. If he wants a bed, it's easy enough to find a comely lad or lass to share theirs with him. If he wants a meal, well, he can make a deal with some restaurant or inn to help bring in customers, using his powers, or just telling stories of his travels. He can play a violin quite well, as well, which certainly helps keep him in all the things he needs, and earns him what little money he needs for what his talents cannot procure.
Standing five feet and six inches tall, with lightly tanned skin, silvery-blue eyes, pointed ears, and short, messy black hair, Morin doesn't look terribly impressive. He's not especially tall, or strong, at least by appearance, nor is he terribly swift or graceful, at least most of the time. He is, however, rather handsome, his body well-toned and unblemished by scars or skin conditions, and he's rather well-hung, not that most people see that. He DOES have a sense of decency... in public, anyway. Typically clad in a simple robe, of variable color, and carrying only a staff, he wanders everywhere, un-bothered by weather or other inhospitable conditions. He's been seen on high mountains during blizzards, and deep in the desert, wearing the same thing, and humming cheerfully as he does.
There's a few reasons for that, though... perhaps it has to do with the tattoo on his back, which never looks the same twice. Perhaps it has to do with the rumors that he hunts monster-girls, successfully. Perhaps it's something else, about him. Whatever the reason, though, he's always smiling, always comfortable, and always pleasant company.
