Personality:
Morgan De Fey, or rather, Morgan the Bloody, as she is most well known, is a ruthless, but dependable leader. Her crew understands loyalty, and expresses it with gusto. They know that Captain Morgan won't lead them astray and always gives her men the same loyalty. If one of her crew members defiled the pact on which they had made with their beloved captain, then that person would soon earn the wraith of Trident (her Kraken), after all, a crew is only as good as their oath to their captain. She's the captain, and she knows she's a badass and rather cocky about it.
Don’t be fooled by this beauty of a captain’s charisma radiates. She’s been known to charm the pants off men and women to make them do as needed (mostly to go through great dangers for treasure, or to lead her to it). Very rarely, she’ll keep a prisoner for a long time. She either feeds them to Triton, or she’ll make treasure out of them, using her amazing UB ability. Not many people are special to her enough to where she wants to keep them around. It's difficult to get close to her, because her trust isn't easily gained. Not to mention she's wise to the ways of liars and scurvy dogs.
She loosely follows the pirate code. To her, they are more like guidelines, something that isn’t enforced within the pirate community. She follows her own code mostly, which matches her cut throat personality. Sometimes, she's just plain lazy about the code and just does things on a whim. She can be generous, or the opposite. She's also frugal and materialistic, only wanted riches for herself.
Sensual and can express her sexuality easily, Morgan needed to learn this for survival. However, she self-indulges with her pleasures. Depending on her mood, she can be dominant or passive, but most certainly will seduce those of interest. She prefers a dominant partner for a challenge. When she wants a passive partner, is either she's in a hurry to regain her immortality, or needs more treasures. Either way, don't be surprised that Morgan has an inventive mind in bed. Don't you dare fall in love. She's not interested in relationships, or meeting the right person. All she want's is her pleasures to be fulfilled and will do whatever she can to make it happen.
~Biography~
Morgan’s true name and her parents has been long forgotten when she was four. She can’t remember anything. She was taken in, and raised by a well known pirate, named 'Disembowlin' Carl Cooke, who taught her about the open sea, as well as the hidden treasures within. She lived with the man, who she knows as father, on his ship, named The Malestrom. She learned how to swashbuckle her way out of sticky situations, and often helped her father on treasure hunts. She loved venturing with him, and his crew was like an extended family to her.
She made a name for herself, when her father figure was arrested and hung, for committing the crime of piracy. She sought to keep the tradition going, making the British navy fear the pirate way. She made sure that the British navy was aware of the wrongs they did her. So, in order to obtain such a name, she sent a message to the British government. She took over one of their navy ships, left no survivors, and stolen everything that was worth money. Then, she sat the ship on fire, leaving it as a statement that Morgan the Bloody was there.
As well as running from the British Navy, she sat out to find what she most craves for; treasure. On one of her travels, she found an amulet of legend. The amulet was said to give eternal life to the wearer, but for a cost. Of course, Morgan disregarded this warning, stolen it, and put it on as soon as possible. The amulet wasn't false with it's power. Actually, it did grant her eternal life, but in return, Morgan must sustain her body, or risk dying. Every 3rd full moon, she must absolutely take another person's life force by UB. As a side effect of this amulet, the person whom she UB becomes a random piece of treasure.
Along with her power, something else happened. This amulet was said to be able to control one of the most terrifying monsters of the sea; the kraken! As long as she wears the amulet, and pays its toll, the kraken is hers to control, and to use as she pleases. She regards it as a friend, and maybe a pet, like a house cat.
With this ability, she wouldn’t have to worry about the British navy coming after her. She was safe. She managed to dodge them well enough to live in modern times. She has a jewelry shop, known as The Malestrom, which is in London’s own backyard. She settled at one of the places that she hated most in the world, just to show that there was nothing that Britain could do about her reign. In this day and age, she isn’t going around as a pirate anymore. No, she looks almost like any other human with a pirate costume hung up in her shop. She mostly wears the high fashion of London. She even doesn’t have to steal her treasure. She’s been using her ability so much in the past years, she had more than enough money to start this wonderful shop. When she’s short on items to sell, she uses her ability to ‘restock’ her shelves. At heart, she’s still a pirate, and she keeps her wanted poster as a ironic keepsake.
Powers: Because of the amulet’s gift, Morgan is able to be immortal, regenerate her body if she’s harmed, and to UB in order to sustain her life.
Equipment: Cutlass, pistol (flintlock), and her special amulet.
Strengths:
- She’s immortal, and can regenerate slowly naturally, or 100% by unbirthing someone.
- Her unbirthing ability.
- Her control over Trident.
- Her charisma.
Weakness:
- She has no armor, and she’s a normal human. She can’t die, but can be greatly wounded.
- Her pistol only has limited rounds, and eventhough her weapons are sturdy, they are still normal human weapons.
- She is dependent on her mystical amulet. If she takes it off, or it doesn’t touch any part of her body, she dies instantly.
1. Morgan will need a successor soon (since she fears that her amulet may not last forever). Maybe if someone could manage to get close enough to this rough and tough pirate, maybe she’ll consider you as her successor. Of course, there is a price to be paid.
2. I wouldn’t mind having a scene where Morgan keeps a prisoner and holds them for ransom. The specifications, I’ll be more than happy to discuss.
- Met up with zelphi, Azares_Bludrein, and Isabelle_Crawden for a nice round of liar's dice. Well, as fate would have it, our beloved captain was the first to loose (but not without a fight). There was some blood drinking by Azares and some good ol' fashion stripping. Morgan is looking forward to her next encounter with the incubi (as well as the rest of the group), to allow Azares to be captain for a day, and then make him her cabin boy.
