Monstergirls get kind of a bum rap. Most of them have at least some degree of civility and intelligence, but they're still just as hunted and despised as their lesser brethren. Many a 'valiant' warrior has hunted down a girl that might be as innocent as a damsel, but has an extra eye or something that qualifies her as a monstergirl.
Well, that ain't gonna stand any longer!
Persecuted monstergirls everywhere have banded together and taken over a heavily fortified castle complex and declared it to be the Monmasu Sanctuary... home for wayward and endangered monstergirls! Many of the stranger girls run and hide here when they have little other option, protected by the heavy walls and their many sisters!
Of course, all monstergirls are different... different habitats equals different comfort zones... so this shabby old castle has turned into a maze of bizarre passageways and differing climates, most of which will lead to the private quarters of one of the current occupants.
In fact, it's pretty difficult to find your way out once you've gotten inside. More difficult than it is to get inside, even. They are monstergirls, and they still have a habit of letting in the occasional 'valiant' warrior by 'mistake', allowing him to attempt to slay them. Then they sex him and eat him.
That's not all, though. Not a valiant warrior? Want to serve the girls, assisting them in their quest to be accepted as equals? Become a Vassal of Monmasu today! That means you'll prolly be sexed and eaten anyway, but at least they'll be gentler about it.

LAYOUT AND OCCUPANTS

Courtyard - Occupants: Currently None
Through the heavy portcullis surrounding the high stone walls, you will find the courtyard. Overgrown with thick vines and flowers and trees, the courtyard serves double duty as a place to relax and a first line of defense... anyone wandering through a maze of greenery that thick might just get lost, or worse, as many of the plants have a very unnatural hunger. No girls currently live here, but any may be found here (5% chance) relaxing.
Foyer - Occupants: Currently None
Entering the castle proper, one will come across the battered old great hall, which has been redesigned as a delightful... if musty... foyer. Lots of places for guests to sit... no chairs, of course, just cushions as many monstergirls have issues sitting in chairs. This is where the current occupants meet new prospects, or visitors, to show them around. If you are expected, 100% chance to meet someone here. If you are not expected, 10% chance to meet someone here.
Armory and Guard's Quarters - Occupants: Lucrecia
The old armory and guardhouse has become the new home of the Iron Maiden monstergirl, Lucrecia. Originally a rather standard torture implement, Lucrecia came to be when a young girl was murdered by being placed inside of an Iron Maiden. Her last thoughts went to her lost love, who was on a rack nearby. Her soul possessed the stone creation, and her thoughts of lust towards her beau turned her from violent torture device into something a bit more... sensual. Able to move about via slow levitation, she relies primarily on ambush techniques to ensnare visitors to her quarters, giving them a long and sleepless night they'll never forget before digesting them away. She's often placed right at the entrance if a particularly stubborn invader tries to break in, as there are very few paladins who can affect stone simply by swinging at it!
Dining Hall, Kitchen - Occupants: None
The old dining hall and accompanying kitchen have been mostly restored to their former glory, as even monstergirls need to eat and have a place to sit while doing so, and the supply of adventurers can't feed them indefinitely! They take turns cooking, so you're never sure what you'll find in here... but it's usually relatively edible, at least!
A massive table that can seat fifty-plus dominates this room, though no chairs remain. Large cushions dot the area for those girls that can sit... the rest just lounge or stand, depending.
Lower Chambers, South - Occupants: Treyarch
The southern section of the castle's lower chambers used to be a dungeon, but have largely been converted into living quarters for the monster girls that have a fondness for damper living conditions. The castle was built on an underground lake, so with enough digging and wall-obliterating they were able to locate and utilize this lake, digging a tunnel from it to the ocean nearby and turning it into a saltwater pool. This suits Treyarch just fine, considering she's lived on the shoreline most of her life. Originally an inhabitant of a small Caribbean island, she was driven off simply because the locals thought she'd make a particularly good meal. And there were a hell of a lot of them. She's pretty lazy, and not particularly quick on the uptake... slow to rouse, as it were. She's pretty affectionate too, all things considered. However, she can snip you in half, so it's probably wise to do what she says. Especially when she gets... excited. She's fond of holding partners until they're empty before swallowing them down. And as you can see, her methods don't take long to empty someone.
Lower Chambers, Northeast - Occupants: Celeste
Another chamber linked to the underground lake, this one is less a room and more just a pool with a door, as the occupant spends much of her time underwater. Celeste is a somewhat uncommon species, a sea star girl. Hailing from the lazy shores of Hawaii, the largely sedentary Celeste had to dodge one too many shots from navy ships and decided to find sanctuary here. Because of her speed, she's quite cunning to make up for it, and she's incredibly strong... most folks who she attaches to never even get to consider escaping. She rarely talks, even to friends that live with her... so outsiders will get little more than blank stares unless they find one of her secret likes~
Abandoned Dungeon - Occupants: Juuniai, Kanai
Considering the other residents of this place, Juuniai is likely the most normal occupant in the entire castle. This makes the huge, sloshing googirl somewhat important, as she often greets newcomers in order to avoid putting them off. Well, non-monstergirl newcomers, at least. Most have seen slimegirls before, so seeing her allows them to ease into some of the stranger beings. Gentle and serene, Juuniai can always be counted on for good company and a warm hug... though the hugs often turn pleasurable, then fatal, when she is hungry. Her dungeon home is dark and wet and slimy, all the better for her to slink in behind unwitting visitors... she really is a lover, though, and even her victims often consider meeting her to be worth the cost.
Also living down in the old dungeon is Kanai. Always at home in dungeons and the like, the mimicgirl didn't have to look too far to find a place to stay in the sanctuary... particularly since she already lived in the place to begin with! Commonly parked at the end of a small hallway near the stairs, she spends much of her time reading or challenging folks to her version of the cup game with two identical old treasure chests. Most adventurers that break in don't even realize mimic-girls exist, so they find out the hard way relatively quickly as soon as they descend. Still, it keeps her well-fed and happy, so she doesn't mind the intrusion as long as they don't damage her books!
Cellar - Occupants: Alut
The cellar is the deepest portion of the old castle, flooded ages ago even without the assistance of digging monstergirls. This is where Alut lives... snuggled up in the darkness. A vampire squid girl, Alut simply exchanged one darkness for another when one too many little submarines shone lights into her sensitive eyes. She's extremely shy, but she does like visitors regardless~! She's usually even nice enough to gobble them up in the warm part of her pool.
Upper Chambers, East - Occupants: Tetra
The eastern upper chambers have been converted into the likeness of an ancient Egyptian palace, with glimmering statues and baubles and plenty of expensive tapestries about. This section is home to Tetra, the chimeric horror who was driven from her home in Egypt over fifteen years ago by a particularly grumpy band of hunters. Okay, granted, she did swallow folks up, but she's quite entitled do it, being monster royalty, don't you think? She's a bit stuck up at times, but she's generally easy to get along with besides... especially if you're willing to give her rubs. She loooooves rubbin's.
Upper Chambers, West - Occupants: Norie
Considering that the outside of the castle is already a veritable jungle, it seems a bit redundant to have a room INSIDE of the castle full of greenery. But alas, Norie demanded it, and so it was done. Norie is decadent, lazy, and quite satisfied to settle in her room, nibbling on sweets and junk food all day until some cute do-gooder wanders in to sate her deeper hungers. She commonly keeps them for days upon days, milking everything they have before finally devouring them... after all, they taste better salted with a bit of despair. The girl hails from a European forest, somewhere... she won't say exactly how she got chased out, but it was likely very undignified.
Upper Chambers, Servant's Quarters - Occupants: Rosemarie
Chased rather violently from her home in the Pacific, Rosemarie was taken in as the maid of the Sanctuary simply because her eight arms allow her to be the most efficient at it! Bubbly, cheerful, snuggly and ditzy as can be, the octo-maid trundles about the place happily, tidying up where needed and snaring cute meals when the opportunity presents itself, crushing them in her soft coils. Her room is full of stuffies and cuteness, as well... it looks like a little girl's room, not the room of any sort of monstergirl~! And, yes, she can disguise herself as a human, but... she doesn't like it much!
Rooftops - Occupants: Anyalie, Spirit Nagas, Floe
Up on the roof of the castle, the strangest member of the sanctuary resides. Anyalie seems to be a gentle, serene angel, and it's hard to believe she was chased or cast out of anywhere! But the gentle angel has a number of hungry, lusty nagas at her control, and while she might impart a delicate kiss or hug to visitors, she prefers leaning back and watching as her naga slaves torture and devour them. So she's not a very angelic angel after all!
Floe is a harpy from Ukraine, who had been using the desolate Red Forest as a sanctuary for quite a few of her years before she was driven out by the military. Quick-witted and quite brash and violent, the easy-to-anger girl quite commonly nabs intruders before they even make it to the door, swallowing them in midair, or tackling them and smothering them with feathers and her ass.
Upper Chambers, Master Bedroom - Occupants: Amiee
Amiee is the mistress of the Sanctuary... the owner, the leader, the one that made it possible. A demoness that was in the French aristocracy for years, she was discovered when a courtesan witnessed her feeding on one of her beaus, and she was forced to flee. Using her fortune, she purchased the castle that is now the sanctuary. Slightly haughty, she is fond of a good cup of tea and a man who is able to hold a good conversation... and can also struggle against her for long enough. When a man stops struggling in her grasp, he is sucked up into her body to be digested... but if they can outlast her, they win her admiration! None have done so yet.
