Molly Sinclair loves her job, from cataloguing spell-books to dealing with eager young scholars looking to become certified in sorcery. Of course, being a Librarian wasn't always her dream job-- she first wanted to be in the Board of Sorceresses, responsible for clearing new magical research as well as dealing with every sorceress that hoped to get out of the elementary-stages of Casterhood. A position like this would allow her to meet and work closely with the great minds of sorcery, which meant that it would be within her grasp to meet and work alongside all of the women she had idolised as a child. She could learn so many spells that she hadn't had the chance to encounter in her academic studies. It wasn't until she was forced to take an internship at the Library that she became truly aware of the spring of hidden knowledge that was housed behind the musty covers of those old, leather-bound tomes.

At first, she hated the position; the library was so vast and expansive (seeing as it housed scholarly texts, recipe books, and also recreational reading materials) that she had difficulty getting any work done. The freshly-graduated, hungry-eyed Molly thought the entire endeavour to be beneath her. She spent the first several weeks shooting anybody that asked her where to find anything looks that could kill. She was going to hand her resignation into the head librarian the day somebody returned a certain old spellbook that she'd always wanted to be able to read, but hadn't been aware that the Library even had the thing. Excited, Molly checked the book out for herself at the end of her shift, staying up through the night and also through the next day in order to review the thick, worn pages. Each of the pages of the book had a hand-written notes from the sorceress that all academy graduates aspired to be likened to in the margins, as well as several blank pages in the back filled with ideas for new spell recipes. Molly was over the moon.

On her next scheduled day to work, the young sorceress eagerly went in and performed her required duties, even going so far as to ask the regular workers about the arrangement of the library. The rest of her internship went so swimmingly that when she filled out the application for a regular employment position, the women in charge of the library were actually excited to welcome her to the team. Molly worked tirelessly to climb the ropes of the Librarian hierarchy until she was awarded the position of head Librarian at a smaller library, where she quickly memoriesed the selection of books and performed her job so admirably that when the Head position of the main branch opened, the university could think of no better person for the position than Molly, who happily obliged them.

And here she works, helping students find books for their projects, helping faculty find books for their own research, keeping stock of all of the books in her library. Really, she could think of no better utilisation of her time than being right where she is...
