You would think being entrapped in an hourglass would be a bother...
I really dont mind....oh sure, if you offer to actually break me out, I'll take that in a heartbeat, but somehow in the end, even when I am broken out...something happens...
I gets killed, stepped on, pushed into some randy girls private areas, and then its back into the hourglass...because thats where I 'belong' in the end..Sure, I know that a little bit of magic can fix this also, a simple spell to change where I'll keep popping up.
...But, why would I wan't that?
Honestly, the hourglass is a very safe place, it always seems to have more then enough water to sustain me, and cant really be knocked over on accident...and the best part it, it could be completely crushed, smashed, burned, atomized even...and it will reform within an hour as if nothing even happened!

Most of what I remember was in some gigantic tower, where a big elderly fellow actually used my hourglass to keep time for spells or something. Then a gigantic barbarian stole me and used my glass as a timer for some sort of battle arena prize....which I was won by a thief who never even used my glass once and just stared at me occasionally with a dirty grin....I was stolen then by the daughter of said thief, who stabbed him in the back one night.
...guess who shoved me into those naughty bits...
...It was not long, though, before a strange succubus came to the thief, speaking of untold delights and pleasures she could not understand.....till she saw me at least....the thief was promptly stabbed and exploded at that point....
And then she took me...glass and all...and though she didn't say anything to me, something about her smile told me that I was not going to have any problems for a long time. She is kind of like the thief where she really doesnt use my glass except when she's like baking or something, but we actually chat from time to time.....She says she wants to find someone who can really use me though....and judging from the weird bookstore she owns....she just might!
