She's got numerous names, depending on who you ask and the state of their mind at the time of asking. The best people to ask, though, are the occupants of any given bar, anywhere along any road in Gensokyo. After all, odds are good she's been there, at least once, and gone home with SOMEONE.

Miwako, last name unknown, is one of very, very few wandering monks in Gensokyo. There's Mikos here and there, sure, but there aren't many monks. Maybe a few besides her, but she's never met them. They seem, in fact, to be a dying breed... Which may be why she takes her job so seriously.

You know. When she can be bothered to do it.

In fairness, while she may be drunk a fair amount of the time, she's actually a functional drunk. She can keep working, even when she's not sober... which is a good thing, probably, considering her line of work. Of course, things aren't as straightforward as they used to be, anymore. After all, in Gensokyo, if someone rises from the dead, they might just be cranky from having just woken up, or something, and not a horrible monster.

Things USED to be different, before. But, well, they're not now. So, really, her work doesn't tend to be... well, as necessary as it used to be. Where before, she'd have been one of the first to respond to an emergency involving youkai, now she's... well, drinking with them. Everything's settled down, everyone knows everyone else, and frankly, she's almost forgotten times when she fought them in the past. But she still tries to help, where she can, and keeps her skills sharp...

Standing a mere five feet tall, with light skin, purple eyes, and medium-long, hime-cut brown hair, Miwako doesn't exactly stand out physically. However, her typical attire(A pair of light blue hakama, with a brown kimono, and of course she carries around her shakujo as well) does stand out, and every bar knows and welcomes her with glee. She's considered a bit of a good luck charm, in places that typically have human clients, because the Yousei and the Youkai know her, and won't mess with her(or her watering holes). And, well, youkai who usually wouldn't wander in will, to chat with her, and yousei will visit as well(though they may not pay). So, she brings in business, and keeps the riff-raff away....

Now if only she was a bit happier... she does drink for a reason, after all...
