An enigmatic emotionless female character.
Any woman who isn't an emotional wreck in 'common media' draws attention to herself simply by being dispassionate and collected.
She can be purposely cool in a crisis, i.e., "she's all business." Or she may also have some sort of secret special power. Sometimes the anchor in the midst of chaos; other times just quietly mysterious, but always important since she's the exception to the "woman = overemotional" rule.
Sometimes used by animators as the comic foil, especially in noisy, chaotic situations.
Not necessarily a fan of pure logic and reason like The Spock, as compassionate under the skin as the Tin Man, as wise and profound as Silent Bob, or as strong and badass as The Stoic. She just stands out for keeping cool in stressful situations or when taking decisions.
In certain instances, she may be an actual Robot Girl. Despite the name, the trope isn't Always Female and male characters also apply but, due to men being expected to have no emotions other than anger, they're less noticed.
An interesting twist on the Emotionless Girl is the Emotionally Repressed Girl. This girl feels the emotions but doesn't express them openly or vividly. These girls can draw the viewers into the scene by forcing one to pick up on her subtle cues - so that when the seemingly Emotionless Girl finally does smile, there's a tremendous amount of satisfaction.
They may suffer from Bad Dreams and/or find it difficult to express gratitude. Often will be the subject of Must Make Her Laugh and/or When She Smiles.
Backstory
"Mitami who? Oh, that girl....Um...I don't know much about her. She's pretty quiet...kinda keeps to herself too. Huh? Oh, she's over there...You cant miss her, she's like the tallest girl in class....Sanaguji says she's a robot, but she goes to school physicals every time, so she cant be, right?"

Lets get some of the basics out of the way, ne?
No, Reo isn't a robot. She's flesh and blood like anyone else.
No, she didn't have a traumatic experience at a young age that causes her to be so emotionally repressed, she can't function in normal life.
No, she's not mentally disabled.
What Reo is, is an enigma. She has a pair of loving parents who do everything they can for her, she being an only child. She's always gone to some of the best schools, she does well enough on her tests, and she is also pretty darn good on the track team as well, having such long legs.
...She's just quiet, distant, even a little bit in her own world at times. Often times she can be seen just staring ahead without any movement. Noone really knows what she is doing or thinking, but if you get her attention, she will look at you calmly, as if to wonder what you want.
She barely answers if she is asked a straight question. It will always be a one or two word answer. Her greeting might be the smallest hint of a smile if she is close to you, but otherwise don't even expect her to contribute to the conversation. Some people haven't ever even heard her speak before.
Those who do, though, tend to say she has a very cute voice at least. Soft...but cute enough. And with a body like that....It does get the boys coming for her, though most have given up at this point. She just is so...detracted, and flirting doesn't seem to work at all. Any direct approach she rebukes, saying 'Your not the one' in a slow, almost monotone way.
...People often wonder who the 'one' is.
Nevertheless, she continues to do well in school, being mostly good at math, and though the teachers sometimes worry for the silent girl, she never showed any signs of trouble, even with people who try to harass her for one reason or another.

*Always has steady emotions, not libel to go into sudden sadness.
*Very fast runner when she needs to be.
*Strong swimmer as well.
*Nice body...I mean -nice- body.
*Legendary at making bento boxes and sweet treats.
*If you manage to get her heart...she is fiercely devoted.
Weaknesses
*Hard to get to know her.
*Fast runner, so hard to catch her.
*Steady emotions...so is hard to tell when she's happy, sad, loving, etc.
*Gets leered at by perverts often.
*Hard to get past the acquaintance stage. Takes a lot of time to get to know her, even then you may never fully know her.
