The Kanzuki family is a name known for its influence and wealth. The head of a great conglomerate of corporations, their wealth and influence is known around the world. At its head, sits the one and only Karin Kanzuki. Entrepreneur, CEO, and martial artist. A very driven woman, none can doubt her commitment and convictions in all things. She took over the company at a young age, stealing it from her own father. She doesn't just practice martial arts, but developed her own entirely unique style based on observing and sparring with some of the greatest fighters from around the world. In her view, everyone has a place, has some worth, it just has to be found. To that, she will help them, no matter what. Even former criminals can find a place in her household, if they're willing to take up her rules. Even the most incorrigible of individuals can find a place in her household. It just so happens that that place is inside of her.

Ah yes, but Karin has, with all her wealth and influence, really gone above and beyond in reforming the elements of society. Of course she is always open to the genuinely capable, the genuinely law abiding. They can be quite useful folks after all, and can taste just as good if not better. Of course, if someone is law abiding and not one of the rogue elements she strives to reform, Karin usually won't eat them without permission, but sometimes there is that temptation. Honestly they should simply be honored to be part of someone from such a higher class!

Her primary passion though, is martial arts. She simply delights in holding tournaments, sponsoring promising fighters, and of course, fighting herself. At times she'll fly halfway around the world just at the rumor of an interesting or powerful fighter being in the area. Indeed, one of the best ways to get her interest is with a battle, and of course, she's quite willing to place stakes on it. More than once has she hired someone based entirely on their ability in a quick sparring match with her. More than once someone has found their place in the Kanzuki household after losing to her as well.
