Overconfident and fierce–Katharina Voldre reputation proceeds her. A former soldier and a current crime lord, her reach extends to several rackets that put her as an up-and-comer in the criminal underworld. Her carefree nature often has her tag along with her associates to a different upscale venue every night between business–a far more affable version of her emerging whenever she’s not working. She’ll chat up random passersby whenever she’s out in public, preferring to keep her reputation on the down-low and instead enjoy the quieter moments in her life and the activities that come with them. A leisurely stroll through the marketplaces of the town, even attending local operas and galleries to appreciate art–just about anything that strikes her fancy at a given moment. Her only true hobbies remain a meticulous devotion to smithing her weapons, friendly sparring matches, and spending time with those who truly understand her.

Beneath her fierce persona lies someone who cares far too much about those she befriends. Her callousness is–at best–shallow compared to the other members of her enterprise. She’ll bend backward to make decisions, minimizing casualties and potential risks to fund and improve the overall wealth of her community. While most organization leaders protect themselves, Katharina chooses to gamble with her life. She’s hopeful her allies notice the sacrifice–but never acknowledges the heavy friction between her image and her true self–a wounded soul that wanted to end the endless infighting and squabbles from her adolescence and resorted to crime to survive. With this comes increasing dissatisfaction with the stagnation of her life–and a greater chance of gambling it all away at the chance of becoming something more than a middling crime boss.
