Ah, Milton. Milton, Milton, Milton. What is there to say about Milton.

Milton... is a giant salamander thing. A MAGICAL giant salamander thing. But, as with everything that involves magic, there's more there than there seems to be.

For starters, Milton, despite his most common appearance, is incredibly intelligent and cultured. In fact, should he choose to speak, he speaks with a flawless British accent, and he quite enjoys his afternoon tea, when he can get it. Mind, often his tea is whoever has wandered into his home, but beggars can't be choosers. Besides, he likes the taste of the women, in particular, who find him. Seasoned juuuust right, and they squirm beautifully in his belly.

Of course, one may well imagine that he leaves his home at times. This is most assuredly the case! He's known to wander out into the world on a whim, wandering through it for years at a time, before returning home. This isn't just for sightseeing purposes, you understand. It lets people stop panicking over him, and lets him have his meals at home! When he's wandering, of course, he has his pick of whoever he finds, but just as often he seems to decide to let someone go for reasons known only to him. Maybe he's not such a bad guy?

In any case, he's bigger than a city bus. Fully forty feet long from tip to tail(when it suits him), with slimy black skin that has whorling patterns of slightly luminous blue-green in it, he's supported by ten legs, and is a HELL of a lot faster than you'd expect. He can eat you before you have time to scream 'OH GOD RUN', for example.

One might thing, big as he is, that he can't fit into smaller spaces. Not true! See above, he's magical. He can shrink and grow within certain limits as he chooses, though the smallest he tends to get is about the size of a labrador(as far as weight and mass. He's still longer). As far as getting bigger, he doesn't really seem to see a need to do so.

Other things? Pfeh. Who wants other things? He's a giant freaking salamander!
