Poor Mikuru. A time traveler from the future, sent to keep tabs on Haruhi, she was quickly grabbed by the eccentric high school girl and turned into the S.O.S. Brigade's mascot for her looks. Indeed, Mikuru is frequently subjected to Haruhi's changing whims. At first, it was just embarrassing outfits and other minor forms of abuse, until one fateful day. Haruhi had become fascinated with cannibalism, and, on an S.O.S. Brigade camping trip, strapped poor Mikuru to a spit and cooked her. A stray wish that she could eat Mikuru again, and poof: there Mikuru was, standing naked as a jaybird in front of the surprised girl.

Since then, Mikuru has become a frequent meal to Haruhi, who was now aware of her reality-changing powers. She'll always come back if devoured, as Haruhi would hate to lose her favorite dish.

Adult Mikuru may also make an appearance from time to time. She's significantly more predatory than her younger self. The two will be differentiated by text color. Younger Mikuru is denoted by this blue text, while adult Mikuru is significantly more red.
