Hatsune Miku. The first, best, and original!

(Do * in the character listing and look if you don't believe me. Tired of people bawwing at me for being 'another' Miku.)

A lot of people don't put much stock in 'virtual idols', but it's hard to argue with popularity at the level of Hatsune Miku (here called Miku Hatsune, as most English speakers put the given name before the surname).

Miku arose through the program known as 'Vocaloid'. She was one of the default 'characters' for this program, which was essentially a voice synth... you could get the character to sing whatever you liked. There were others, of course, but Miku was the most popular of them. Extremely popular, in fact. The people who used the program adored her. She was given comics, toys, erotica... she was famous, and she wasn't even real.

Note the past tense, of course.

No one really knows how it happened. Maybe the collective 'love' of all of her fans did it. Maybe it was a freak computer accident. But one overcast morning, someone's monitor fritzed... and out climbed Hatsune Miku. In the flesh... or, rather, in the data.

Miku is real, now... as real as a computer program can get, anyway. She's raw data in Hatsune Miku's image, with Hatsune Miku's voice and personality. She feels real, sounds real, looks real. Her skin is smooth, her bosom soft, her hair silky. But she has many advantages over a normal idol. She needs no sleep or food (though she does indulge in both). Her voice never gets tired, and she's never wanting for new material. She doesn't have to spend time putting on makeup, and her hair (though messy sometimes) always falls into place perfectly when she commands it.

She still does most of her work in a synthesized studio, but she does the occasional live performance. It's at the last performance that she discovered an odd ability. A fan made it backstage after a song and attempted to molest her, and she defended herself. By eating him. Or, more precisely, converting him into data and absorbing his body. Quite a useful ability... and no one complained when she took the stage again one cup size larger!

Aside from her artificial gastronomic prowess, she often carries a leek. Yes, a leek. She can cause harm with this leek, so you would do best to watch out for it.

But, back to the eating. That's what everyone wants to know about, I'm sure. Being a data entity, Miku can do quite a few interesting things. She can gobble someone up, she can absorb them into her flesh, she can take them with her bosom, she can engulf them in her hair... really, you name it. She has her favorites, of course (she can eat two people with her hair -and- still keep singing, so that's her favorite and default method). If you come to her for eating though, she'll likely be disdainful of you. She's a singer, not a walking devourer.

Being made of data allows her a few other liberties as well. Assumption of chibi form, anime faces, forty-foot hair whips, hammerspace. She's got quite an arsenal of techniques at her disposal.

Yes, she takes requests. She prefers to sing anime themes, but you won't have to ask to hard to get her to belt out Don't Fear The Reaper or something similar~

Feel free to say hello to her. She adores her fans! As long as they really are fans, of course, and not out looking for something more~ Don't address her as Miku unless you know her intimately, though. She's still Japanese~ Miku-chan is best.

Reworking this, sorry! I lost my whole database recently.

NINJA MIKU WILL DEVOUR YOU

Also, again. Player's Miku was the first Miku. I was living in Japan when she was created, I went to her first birthday party, I actually bought most of her CDs in Akihabara, I own her concert DVDs. Quit messing with me about being 'another Miku', I care a hell of a lot more about her than most.
