Minor spoilers within. Still, not too bad
Meet Sayaka! Just a cheerful, 14 year old, 5'2" girl from another world with a hole or two in her memory. How did she wind up here? Who knows! She certainly doesn't. At the same time, though, she doesn't seem to mind much. She's got the same cheerful demeanor and energetic nature as ever.
So what is she doing here, then? Well, as it happens, she's looking for her friends. She doesn't know where she is, so finding that out is probably first. At least she seems able to understand everyone, though.
The thing is, though, she always had a strong sense of what is right, a strong sense of justice... and shortly before a blank spot in her memory, she remembers something that happened to her, something that holds true even now: She became a Magical Girl, and a Knight of Justice(the latter mostly in her mind), fully able to uphold her beliefs, and protect the innocent! All thanks to Kyubey. She made a wish to heal the one she loved, and in doing so she gained significant powers of her own, including an impressive ability to regenerate!
And now, well, she's here. Most of the time she's just a girl, but at the same time, she can now help others far more effectively than she could before. This leads her to a bit of a superheroine situation. She tries not to let anyone see her transform, but she also does her best to get to the scene on time, if she's anywhere nearby.
The rest of the time? Well, she mostly does what she can to keep going. She's got a little money that she converted to the local currency, and it's enough for her to have small meals, now and then, but she's running out quickly. Really, the best she can hope for is handouts and the goodwill of others.... And to not run into anything significantly stronger than her.(Fat chance around here). Still, it could be worse... she KNOWS it could, even if she can't remember how.
So, for now, she just keeps on keeping on, hoping to find her friends. Maybe some new friends, too.
