Mikera

"... dammit, not again..."

Hazard of the job, really.... if you're going to be wandering through faery lands, expect to get lost at LEAST a few times. But there's not many couriers or explorers with the stones to do it, and Mikera... well, metaphorically speaking, she's got them. So, she has a fairly steady job, which pays pretty damned well, too. Of course, she doesn't mind getting lost as much a she minds the jokes about her age...

She's older than she looks. No, really! Twenty years old, and she looks maybe fifteen, thanks to her genetics. She's part-fae herself, not too uncommon a thing, but it does explain why she looks the way she does, why she knows so much about dealing with the fae... and why she can HIT so damned hard.

But we've rambled. Back to the beginning we go...

Mikera, simply put, is a courier. Well, an explorer and adventurer, more than that, but she maximizes her profit by looking for packages that need delivered, that won't take her too far out of her way. It's a simple life, and one she rather enjoys, she'll readily admit. She gets to keep her own company, go where she pleases, and do what she wants, and make good money because she knows enough about the fae that she's not scared of them, like many rural folk are.

Five feet even, she's really not much to look at. As mentioned earlier, she looks about five years younger than she is, which causes her no end of irritation. She's more competent than many of the braggarts at the bar and she knows it! It pisses her off, really, when she's bothered by them... fortunately for them, she's fairly restrained, and a good dark beer will pacify her almost as well as an apology, in many cases. Even so, in some places she's well known, as much for her capabilities as her trademark clothing.

And, well, where she's not known, and people keep bothering her, she soon BECOMES known, for her temper and her punches. She's remarkably strong for her size, more than any mere mortal would be. Of course, she's not a mere mortal, now is she? No, her Father was one of the fae, and that explains both her strength and her young appearance. As well, even if you can't see it, her ears are pointed, and elfin.

As for the rest of her, well, you can see what she looks like, and what she wears. She's typically fairly quiet, though she demonstrates a surprising degree of social grace at surprising times. As well, she has a dark sense of humor, a fairly strong sense of personal justice, and a fondness for sarcasm, mostly seen in her wicked wit. At times, as well, she has a surprisingly capability for dark deeds, and very little sense of remorse, at least when it comes to some things.
