Mia_Fortunata

--=Introduction=--

Mia is the only child in the Fortunata family, and at present is a cheery 16-year-old girl who's made it pretty far in school, up to and including being part of the cheer squad, a situation most girls would envy. She had a warm upbringing and plenty of chances to roam, too. She is honest, intelligent, kind, all the adjectives that make a good person... yet, that's only so much of who Mia is, no matter how much she might want it to be /all/ there is to her.

--=The Eternal Cycle of Suffering=--

It all started when Mia was 12 years old, and was wandering through the forests behind her parent's house. She went /much/ farther than she was supposed to, not that she knew this, and eventually, tripped over a root, falling into a cave of some sorts. When the girl next knew where she was, she was totally lost, and walking around /did not at all help that/. There was, allegedly, stone making up its inside, but looking at it felt more like looking into an immeasurable abyss. Purportedly every path lead somewhere, but to Mia it seemed like she was going in directions that made her head hurt just to think about. The girl had no idea she was in the ancient, forsaken temple to a god time forgot.

A god that time should have /kept/ forgotten.

After seconds of long wandering journeys over miles of cavern, Mia collapsed. Was she out for days? She had no way of knowing. Not even time or distance seemed to mean anything to her. But she made it to somewhere. Black obsidian aglow with rainbow lines, a central dais that spiraled in on itself in ways that drew one's eyes crossed without any effort, and dancing ephemeral whispers that spoke of promised times. In the center was a form of a thousand rainbow globes, asleep, almost /bound/. Just looking at it made Mia's head spin. Yet... just by doing so, it briefly awakened. Was she doomed?

...Surprisingly, no. Not yet. The little preteen girl just stared up at the nameless thing that transcended reality and logic. It was dying. No matter what you might say about strange aeons, or deaths that may die, this thing had went far too long sealed by that which it most reviled, and it was without hope. A child. A human child was weak. It could grow. It could go further. But... this is a story already told. And because of this, and many other more pertinent reasons, it was not so.

Mia had unnatural fortitude, a rare gift that she should have envied, in the face of the impossible. In the face of a force so dread that it would have, if even remotely successful, made any shred of Mia's mind and soul forfeit to take her body and /live/. But it could not enter. It could not break her, like so many humans it had touched before. It would continue to die, a pathetic husk of the thing that once crushed one's very soul with its sheer visage.

This was intolerable.

The very last of its essence was spent in that instant on a scared little girl. It could not /take her/, so instead it would live on as the greatest counter-jab to the greatest insult it had ever received. Becoming a god no more, the nameless being, that in another age may have been dubbed the Mind-Slaying Prismatic Radiance, lived on instead as a curse. A creation of infinite malice whose power, while still unbound in ways that the things humans call 'deities' would hardly even match, nonetheless existed for only one purpose. To grant this petulant, stubborn daughter of frail and pathetic man only suffering and corrupted will.

Mia woke up in bed the morning she had set out on, terribly confused. But it was only the beginning...

--=The Mechanics of the Curse=--

Over a period roughly approximating one week at its swiftest, to one month at its slowest, the curse builds up around Mia. Every day that passes makes things, on some level, worse. Desires begin to focus onto her, negativity swells around her. Lusts, hungers, and sadistic yearnings grow in the hearts of any who might even harbor the smallest hints of them. When the period reaches its crescendo, something so affected, acts. She will be raped, or eaten, or abused, or any number of other untoward fates.

...unless, for whatever reason, nobody is so taken by the urges that they act on them. Then the curse /improvises/. At first, beings more likely to abuse her or otherwise elicit suffering, will be drawn to her. Reality itself starts to bend so this process is more convenient to them. If that fails or is too slow, sooner or later, reality will become /rewritten/ to ensure that something will abuse the girl and give her the horrible fate the Radiance insists that she eternally deserves.

At times, it may instead decide that she can stop being the victim for a while. Reality alters with the sheer force of malevolence directed at her, and she becomes capable of consumption or any form of rape or murder, and ends up with an unshakeable compulsion to act on it, one that not even her resilience against the original Radiance's divine possession can keep at bay forever. However, this will only happen if actual anguish will arise from the dark deed - anguish stemming from Mia, not from any of her hapless victims.

And should her torments ever lead to her death... an explicit condition of Mia's suffering was that it should be eternal. She will be spiritually returned to the moment she woke, on the day her most recent torment first began. And with the dread influence sated, said torment won't occur, allowing her to go on with her life, knowing what could have been /all/ too well. There is no actual upper limit on how long she can live before she gets 'reset' beyond basic biology, so if she's suffered a particularly terrible fate (like being enslaved for decades, transformed into an inhuman creature, or so on), she may well live for years, or even selfsame decades, before suddenly returning to her teen years like nothing ever happened.

--=A Terrible Semester To Have A Curse=--

Since that day, though, Mia has lived with the curse ever since. She's also kept a diary that, as she grew older and smarter, has become /a lot/ more exhaustive. Usually, names of abusers or at least descriptions are recorded so that she knows to avoid them in the future when it's "the /other/ time of the month", small summaries of what happened in her 'lost time' are written, speculations on what the hell is actually happening to her from the very beginning (Mia mostly has it figured out now), and maybe the most important, an exact record of how long each gap was to the best of her knowledge. By Mia's estimates, while she's 16 years old in the 'real timeline', all of her torments give her enough extra time that the poor girl is actually breaking her 30s in terms of mental age.

However, many things have changed. Mia's will /has/ broken. Twice, now. But she's usually given enough time to either adapt, or just recover - even if it baffles the local psychological community to no end how a teenage girl is fine one day, and is showing signs of severe PTSD the next. And many of the boys /and girls/ have noticed that Mia has very very rapidly become a lot more sexually permissive than she ever was mere years ago. And experienced. And aware of deep, horrible perversions.

Currently, this year's diary is blank...

All unshown sliders assume Sacred_Bells values and descriptions. Mia only preds on either request or after gaining permission from the partner if her player happens to be in the mood, but when she does, she's capable of any form of vore that a human body could engage in (as in, she can do even the most ludicrous of vores as long as it relies on a body part humans actually have).

As PredAs Prey

Being PredBeing Prey Always/Love

Never/Dislike By and large, Mia is prey. Especially because it's an 'acceptable form of torture' by the powers that interfere with her fate... and because she's basically a normal human. However, she not only /could/ become capable of it because of the more dramatic effects of her affliction, but it has even happened before.
Reforming Always/Love

Never/Dislike In the occasions that Mia is a predator, she cannot reform someone - nor will the powers that vex her ever do so. As a prey, she doesn't /literally/ reform, instead spiritually time-traveling back to when the situation that lead up to her demise began - with full memory of what transpired. This is fairly important, as her curse is to suffer and /remember/, not suffer and enjoy release.
Willing Always/Love

Never/Dislike If we set aside all aspects of mind control or the like, the major reason Mia will be willing for being prey, is that she knows she's being 'punished' by the powers, and is trying to satisfy them so she can have some momentary peace. However, her experiences in more sexual terms have greatly raised the bar on what she considers 'too much'. This doesn't necessarily mean she's become impossible to rape, or overly perverse/slutty/whatever, it just means that Mia is just not going to be as psychologically troubled by sex anymore.
